  • Apparently, there is another theological point to the story, another reason for the seeming participation of the Holy One, blessed be He, in the game: to bless Israel. Reading Exodus and Numbers, as well as Moses’ admonishments in Deuteronomy, gives the impression that the Israelites who were taken out of Egypt were a nation of sinners and complainers. One could, however, take a different perspective, bearing in mind that these events occurred over the course of forty years.

I see myself in Bilaam as my ego is unbelievable, I think we can objectively learn about and observe Him so that we can take measurements of Him and His universe, the true minimum unit of time, applicable to all things, for instance pondering whether logic has a minimum unit etc.

Can you discuss how Balam and Balaak sabotaged the purity of a people through unscrupulous actions?

What Balaam did, instead of actually casting a curse upon the Israelite’s, Balaam seems to have told Balak something like, “If you want to throw the Israelite’s into chaos, allow your women to seduce them. Establish relationships with these men, and then invite them into your temples, sacrifice your animals and encourage the Israelite men to eat this sacrificed meat.” Of course, this meat that was offered to false gods, do not exist.
Because the men ate this meat, this seems to be a good indicator that they had fully fallen away from God. Eating meat that had been sacrificed to false idols was the ultimate slap in the face, but how did it get started? Through sexual relations with Moab’s women. So, because Balaam gave advice to Balak, to have his women seduce Israel’s men while living next door in Shittim, the Israelite’s would later kill Balaam by the sword because of how he had corrupted the Israelite’s.
Difficult story to breakdown, as the provided details are limited, but the above scenario seems to make reasonable and rational sense. Just an idea.

The tendency toward udolatry was alive and burning deep inside their " pure hearts". When they were fed with it , they opose it not.
In the new testament Yeshua said: " Now comes Satan, but he has nothing in me". When any sin is ouwardly carriied out it is because it has been inside al along , then comes the day of consumation. The lesson here is that every one of us must pay keen attention to what is fighting on the inside to manifest and crucify it.
