Here's an update about the issue affecting the Radar. After lots of rigorous testing with Adaptive Cruise/Pre-collision system I found out this LED logo is affecting it by making noise that affects the Radar module. After few seconds the system completely disables anything related to the pre-collision system. Bear in mind, any metals even wires can affect the Radar module. To fix the issue you need to either remove the LED logo or move the Radar to a different spot. However, moving the radar might need it to be re-calibrated and you have to do the testing on your own. I did find a good spot and tested it thoroughly which also allows me to install the LED logo without affecting the radar. Although, I'm not sure if this will work on all RAV4 trims. This is strictly will work on Trail/Adventure/TRD trims as they have different grill than the other trims. However, this will give you a good idea of how to accomplish this. Please stay tuned, I'll make a video in the near future.
I'm not a big fan of talking in videos, just would like to keep it short, simple and direct to the point. Talking would increase video length tremendously. But thanks for your feedback though

@@lajaunwillis5960 Amazon is outdated when it comes to car accessories. I usually use Aliexpress although they're not cheap. But they definitely have more options

do yo think a possible fix is cutting the back of the logo because the Surface is the problem i mean the back surface of the logo or putting aluminum paper on the back
Does the emergency break light work still? I think the front LiDar is for detecting objects. Will you consider installing one for the rear with the blue backlight?
Hi sr,I installed this item but the dashboard say the precolision system is disable and may to clean the sensor, I have cleaned twice the sensor but continue the same information,I removed this logo and place the original logo and the note finished, I don't know why pass this.
I've also started to experience this lately so I've decided to remove it for now and investigate it later. Try to remove the emblem "including the original" and just drive around and see if that makes any difference?
I did this to my 2018 Toyota Camry and the pre collision sensor started to malfunction and tell me it's dirty. Cruise control becomes unavailable when the PCS goes off. Any idea what could be causing it to think it needs cleaned?
@@RAV4Guides It's clean and not touching the sensor. It was pissing me off since the first night I drove in the fog before I ever messed with the emblem. The dealership is quick to point the finger at me and say it's my fault because I replaced the emblem. Thing is what's the point of this sensor if it's going to go on strike the moment there's a little fog or drizzle? I asked them about that and I was told that's normal. Really? Normal for a "feature" to stop working precisely during times when you need it the most? Radar should be able to see through fog a hell of a lot better than the human eye. Why does it cease to work then? How is that a safety feature? Frustrating.
Really stupid idea to splice in ur wires over a logo that will cause problems like water damage down the line and corrosion I know u can shrink wrap it but how many people Evan know what that is they will use the connectors shown in the video snap and go
You can always use better connectors and seal them. This video doesn't go through that. It's more of instructional of how to do it. Also there's a disclaimer in the description that says do it on your own risk.

Logo doesn't appear to be available anymore and that is the crappiest way to splice wires together.

the logo works for any toyota ? i have a highlander 2017
You need to measure the logo size on your vehicle first before you order that part. Not all Toyotas have the same logo size.

My signal has DRL as well. I'm tapping to that. You can always tap to your DRL or headlights

@@RAV4Guides Don't know about all models. Mine is 2021 Rav4 Hybrid XLE. And it has only two wires (no DRL wire)

I haven't noticed any irregularities. I did test the dynamic cruise control and it works with no issues.
