The Arbiter and the Master chief are taken deep within the ring by the Flood's central inteligence, the entity reveals to both Human and Sangheili the Prophet's plan to activate the Halo and teleports them to different locations to look for the activation index..
The chief is taken to High Charity in this case, where he witnesses the beginning of the Great Schism and the fracturing of the Covenant empire.

He was having an internal conflict (pairs of hunters come from the same colony, when one gets too big it splits in two, basicly this colony had existential dread on who to side with manifested as litteraly fighting itself)

This is the most phenomenal Halo 2 mod I've seen! I love the extra special touch of having the Halo 2 turrets be accessible as their own assault rifle variant.

I find it odd there are covinent troops working with you in this level, i dont know exaclty how it adds up with the arbiter levels but if they are already working with im i guess his loyalists cluld be informed to work with the humans, that or the ones foghting with you wre so broken by the lies they dont care, theres also 2 hostile factions fighting you which is also cool in addition to the ones who side with you so that is lore accurate (elite allied forces who didnt follow thel, like the ones in ghosts of onyx)
