Maryam is incredibly dedicated, always working or doing something for her family. At 34 minutes in, she's sharing a lovely cuddle with her daughter, who seems delighted. It was a beautiful moment, but then her husband abruptly tells her to get back to work, despite her mentioning a sore shoulder. This startled her daughter, who ran off when he spoke sharply. It's noticeable how often he cuddles his daughters, yet Maryam rarely has such moments. She always has to busy and unable to rest. Later, during their tea break, he asks someone to bring water for him to wash his hands instead of getting it himself or going inside to wash his hands properly. While he may work hard, this behaviour comes across as disrespectful to his wife. The children seem to hide it well, but they appear afraid of their father. I haven't watched the entire video and don't think I will. It's difficult to see children scared of their father. Their compliance and obedience seem to stem from fear. These are fantastic children, and they, along with Maryam, deserve better treatment. Cultural differences aside, this doesn't feel right.

Maryam is incredibly dedicated, always working or doing something for her family. At 34 minutes in, she's sharing a lovely cuddle with her daughter, who seems delighted. It was a beautiful moment, but then her husband abruptly tells her to get back to work, despite her mentioning a sore shoulder. This startled her daughter, who ran off when he spoke sharply.
It's noticeable how often he cuddles his daughters, yet Maryam rarely has such moments. She always has to busy and unable to rest.
Later, during their tea break, he asks someone to bring water for him to wash his hands instead of getting it himself or going inside to wash his hands properly. While he may work hard, this behaviour comes across as disrespectful to his wife. The children seem to hide it well, but they appear afraid of their father.
I haven't watched the entire video and don't think I will. It's difficult to see children scared of their father. Their compliance and obedience seem to stem from fear. These are fantastic children, and they, along with Maryam, deserve better treatment. Cultural differences aside, this doesn't feel right.

@@shazza160When he’s sick he’s unbearable and of course nothing but the best health care for him. He also I noticed has a really bad temper and the children do tread on eggshells especially the boys around him.
