As an Edinburgh fan, I could easily spend my time complaining about the officials (and I will, they were shite), but Munster showed why they're defending champions tonight. Says a lot about the difference in quality when we lost in arguably our best performance of the season to Munster's arguably worst performance. No backbone in our squad or coaching set up

As a Munster fan I thought your team played very well a few mistakes but ye have a very good team just need game management experience and maybe one or two players and ye could be a force

It was far from Munsters worse game, we had some dire performances earlier in the season, but we struggled against against a very impressive tactical kicking game from Edinburgh, especially in the first half. By the second half both teams had learned that any breakdown laws were more suggestions for this game, so the game became allot messier.
The best team won. Edinburgh lack attacking flair and V.d. Merve whilst good with the ball in hand is otherwise a liability.
The pass for that first Munster try was immense

Could these highlights be automated somehow? Consistently terrible, give no hint of how the game felt, just 10 or 15 seconds before each try, no exceptions. Robotic.

Edinburgh rugby has a cultural issue for sure. They can't find the edge required to win tight and important games and it comes from right through the club. Well played Munster, victory deserved with a clear example set of what Edinburgh are missing. Properly gelled team with the grit and determination to win silverware.

TMO was silent, and then he spoke, spoke nonsense. I would agree that the officials were poor to both teams throughout the 80 minutes.
@@x-latetv-x6816 Same here, never seen Munster ground the ball for their second try nor did any camera yet the referee gave it straight away! Munster fans are laughable trying to divert how biased the referee was in their favour by focussing on Edinburghs try where you can clearly see the ball down. How Munsters continuous offsides, time wasting, sealing off, cynical play when Edinburgh were about to score. This list goes on and on the officials were a disgrace
@@boom4301I don’t support either team but watched it as it’s a big game. The officials were shite to both sides mate. Neither of those tries were down. Should have been a scrum 5.

Munster fan. Crowley and our big lads of the bench (ahern amd synman) just had that bit extra to scrape us the win. Iv not seen much of Edinburgh thus year but healy at 10 just seems to sit in the pocket rather than challenging the gainline (like ross byrne). Also Edinburgh made no effort to get vdm onto the ball and make an impact, is that normal?
Van der Merwe makes no effort to get himself on the ball. Same as vs any international side except England.

Yes. I’m an Edinburgh season ticket holder and our attack has been non-existent this year. We had the same number of wins as Munster going into this game, but around 8 bonus points less.
Honestly, Healy is playing well despite the lack of gameplan from the coaches
@@88Eoghan Darcy Graham has been the best winger for Edinburgh and Scotland for some number of years now. Duhan is clinical, but gets found out too easily

A munster lady here i was at the game and i had to tell a Edinburgh suppert to shut up not lady like at all, i know but he was roaring at the top oh his lunges to crowley while was getting himself together to kick the ball...HURRY UP OR THE GAME WILL BE OVER! the was utter disrespect and not sportman like at all...we munster fan would Never to the to our apposing team...its one of the great thing about munster sypporter ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Strange highlights - missed some key moments which, at the game, seemed to be poor referee decision making. Not a witch hunt by any means, mistakes happen but worth highlighting. Snyman's cheap shot on Ben Healy was outrageous and still cant understand the decision not to look at it then award Munster the penalty 😂 was still a fantastic game and one I didn't expect to leave thinking we could have/should have won!
Another attacking masterclass from Edinburgh (😂). Do they have an attack coach? Why was SE given a three year contract? He says Currie is the first name in the team sheet. Really? He persists in playing the same combination of centres and ignores Dean. FFS can someone please tell the Edinburgh coaching staff (now there’s an oxymoron) to think outside the box and be creative!

That TMO decision was up there with the worst I've ever seen. He spent about 5 minutes cooking up any rationale he could to award the try. There ...was....no......visual.......evidence of grounding in goal. Truly awful.bias. The TMO needs to be removed from any role forthwith. Blatant corruption.
Are we just a 2nd tier club side? We never win pressure matches . Blaming the ref, yes he was awful, is a side show.
Benetton, Leinster, Gloucester and Munster.all the same. We can play nice rugby, we can't play winning rugby when we need to.

Absolutely disgraceful performance from the referee. Edinburgh played outstanding yet every time they get 5m out Munster are allowed to dive off their feet and continuously stand offside. A dominant scrum from Edinburgh rewarded by continuous resets to run down Munsters yellow! Oh and standing in the 9s channel is now allowed and when a 130kg saffa is lieing on top of your 10 after a late hit apparently you aren’t allowed to help him😂 laughable the fact Munster fans are actually saying the ref was biased in Edinburghs favor is just mind blowing and is probably just to deflect from the fact on how he gifted Munster the win.

@@sumboi2321 Frisch has declared for France. Don't know the ins and outs but I imagine it's not so much Irish rugby getting rid of him as it is him wanting to play his rugby in France now seeing as that's the national team he's trying to break into. Could be wrong tho.
