Charity shops are a good deal!
A couple of suggestions! Buy diapers is about 4 different sizes. (If you start with about 2-3 hundred diapers, you're good!) Receiving blankets, onesies, bibs, Polar fleece everything for winter (especially the thing that looks like a fleece sleeping bag with arms and a zip up the front), socks(which never stay on), and a few hats (because most babies are nearly bald for the first few months). LMAO!

The one thing we got for our kid we NEVER used was the wipe warmer. Don’t bother. Now the best was the zip up pouch pajamas. You put them in and it looks like a onesie but it has no leg cutouts and you zip up the side and they are great for quick changes and at that early stage they can’t crawl anyways.
Love the laughter! How else can you get through all the changes your body is going through for the little one! This vlog made my evening. Thanks so much for sharing your pregnancy journey!!!!

I didn’t know what I needed until I had the actual kiddo. I got what I thought were essentials, and then couldn’t use wipes on either baby due to them being allergic 🤣 and then were born huge, even the hospital didn’t have their size diapers, so don’t worry you’re gonna be just fine. We all figure it out. Do the things that you feel will make you feel more settled, and the rest will work itself out. Loved getting to see all the updates, Clare ❤

Enjoy the 3rd trimester. Slow down, rest, nest and try to figure out a schedule (it saved me each time). From a mother of 3 to you, I’m so excited for you and Alex.

My personal best suggestion is to get a hot water bottle/heating pad for the baby's bed. Warm the sheets before you put them to bed - especially for the middle of the night feedings! Warm the sheets while you're feeding or changing them. They go from your warm arms to chilly sheets so they wake up crying. Consider warming whatever you use to clean them during diaper changes (wipes, washcloths, etc.). No one likes a cold butt.

Just slap the lotion/cream, oil on the skin, it’ll help. And the changing your underwear/liner when you sneeze or cough is forever now. The joys of pregnancy! Congrats and hope you have a safe delivery! 🥰🇨🇦

You’re looking radiant in your pregnancy glow! So happy for you and Alex! Pregnancy does bring some weird bodily functions. Oh and baby is going to love the bouncy thing. My youngest had one and pretty much wore it out with all of her bouncing. LoL 😂
Undershirts and bonnets!! We were Always in bonnets as babies and in undershirts as young kids in the 90s, by my grandma's insistence. We never had ear infections as babies, my mother insists it was because of the bonnets that covered our ears.

Oh honey, I remember those days of crazy things. My feet became so swollen toward the end that I thought I would have stretch marks on my feet. I am a small woman too and the last two months were so much fun. But just remember when it passes you get a beautiful baby. Enjoy sleep while you can. My oldest is 31 and my youngest is 28 and I haven't sleep well since they were born....lol
I had a horrible day until I watched your vlog. Thank you for making me giggle, especially about the clueless Instagramer and the Christmas pacifier. 😂

Re: your concerns about the logistics of being an entrepreneur with a child. It may take longer to find time to vlog, edit, etc. as you attend to your baby's needs, but I'm certain you and Alex both will find your stride and integrate your baby into your lives rather than putting your lives on hold to attend to her. Include your child in your endeavors. They'll grow up happier knowing that you're happy.

Aww Clare I can't believe how far along you are. You're rocking it. Pregnancy is both wonderful and awful 😂 I have to say it was my life long dream to be pregnant and be a mam, and the pregnancy part did NOT hold up!!!! But the baby part is the best thing that's happened to me. My daughter is 9 months and I just keep loving her more and more. And I love seeing my partner as a dad.
it is so cool you are going to be a mom, I remember all the times you were wanting to have a child and now it is all real. Alex is going to be a great dad he reminds me of my own dad.

Yeah we have a few places here in the States that we can donate clothing, odds and ends, and furniture and they sell it to raise money for charities. Salvation Army, Goodwill, Catholic Charities, and Door Of Hope Thrift Store.

When my wife had our kid, we ended up going through a lot of onesies (our daughter grew like a reed!) and a lot of pacifiers (I have no idea where half of them went!). Best wishes to all of you.
