Such a beautiful card, Marla! The trick to both the Bluebells and Lavender die sets is to adhere the stems over the flowers in both sets! At first, it frustrated me working on the Bluebells as I struggled to color the blooms and the green stem of them without transferring ink on one or the other. Then I took a closer peek at the Lookbooks and discovered they lay on top of the floral pieces. In hindsight, it was a genius design move on Betsy's part as it's so much easier to color all the pieces. This also allows for the sepals to sit appropriately at the base of the flowers.

Thanks so much. Yes, after I went roque and created without looking, I realized I had the pieces assembled differently. It still worked out and I wasn't about to toss them when they didn't look terrible. Thanks for the encouragement!

Gorgeous card! I'm sure the recipient will love it. My mom just had extensive surgery on her foot that has put her out of commission for the rest of the summer too, but she knew it was coming. Still no fun to be laid up during the summer though. I sure feel like I spend all my time at the doctor's office between her appointments and mine though. I asked them if I get frequent flyer miles or my own parking spot last week. Haha!

Oh man, Amanda. I was hoping the last procedure was going to give you a great summer :( I'm sorry you're still at the doctors all the time. My dil's mother had knee replacement surgery just a couple months prior to this accident. It made the extra down time that much worse.

@@MADAboutCardsandCrafts Well, the stimulator is working pretty good for my arms, which is a plus. Unfortunately, the blood clots I got in my leg after that surgery caused the nerve condition I have to spread to my legs. So, now, I am having issues with them too. I've been having nerve blocks to see if we can get it under control, but they don't seem to be working as well as we had hoped. More than likely, I am going to have to have wires added to my stimulator to cover my legs. Which is going to be another surgery, another risk of clots and probably worst of all, another delay in our move.
