  • Mowing a tall lawn with the 1983 Snapper I picked up off Facebook marketplace. My mowing is a bit erratic due to the height of the grass but surprisingly it did not kill the mower. Thanks for watching!

impressive , I got a 1974 Craftsman with Tecumseh LAV35 engine. I got going, after being in storage for a while at my father's minor tune up ( quick clean carb, air filter, blade sharpen, points sand, new plug) and it starts on 1-2 pulls

I have this same mower; The only difference is mine is self propelled. Mine is a 1983 21 inch Snapper, self propelled, 6 speed on the handle. Mine is a 3.5 hp engine.

WOW, you sure did let that yard grow tall, those little 3HP engines just don't have the power to really handle that without bogging down. But, it may take a little more time, but they certainly get the job done. But you will have to go back over it with your bagging mower for sure. Your dog looked like he was having fun watching you, at least he wasn't getting in the way like a lot of people's dogs tend to do. Snapper for the win!

I was quite the tall order for the little snapper. I'm more curious to see how the Lawn boy will handle it!

Its going... one step forward 5 steps back. Ran into some timing issues that I'm waiting on an email from APE Inc. Hopefully they will answer
