“Sometimes pots are friendly, right?”
Some may have forgotten, but I haven’t. Justice for Goobus’ massacre of Jarburg! 😂
Just came here to say this lmao
The small "Oh you're a Bonk build" when seeing the other player at the first site of grace was so cute
everyone else: i did a new playthrough to warm up
gab: i havent played in 2 years
I was so surprised when Miyazaki told us the size of the map. He failed to mention how much there is to do vertically. Like an Elden Ring lasagna. This really is more like a sequel rather than just a DLC.
Lol.I never thought I would read read elden ring and lasagne in the same sentence. Hope you are enjoying the dlc (and the lasagne).
so true. first i wasnt rly overwhelmed cause the map looked a little bit smaller than base game, but its actually crazy how much more there is u just dont see first from the map.. even without that it would be awesome for DLC but with that, its actually a new game/sequel
Just finished watching Sean’s video, and now I’m absolutely going to watch Gab’s playthrough - I don’t care if it’s the same content. Something tells me they’ll have a wildly different experience, which is why they’re such a great team/couple!
Literally me right now lol
CZcams Power Couple, lol. Also here for the same but wildly different play through!
I have left word's on rad brad channel for him to check your game play Gabby as his using a different set up to you just thought it would be interesting
Sameeee!
Who is Sean? I'm very confused.
I am continually blown away by how enormous and intricate this is. Miyazaki said it’s about the size of Limgrave. Liar! It’s about 5 Limgraves stacked on top of each other. I fell down a hole in a ruin and found a whole-ass city. Lol
Best thing i can say is that they undersold this dlc by a long shot, it’s way bigger than you think it’s gonna be, it almost feels like a sequel. Be sure to remember that this dlc has a lot of depth and to look at every corner and cliff to see where you can jump down, there’s also a lot that isn’t mapped as it is underground/underneath the plateaus. Lastly, go back and talk to all the npcs whenever a big event/announcement happens
“Wait there’s two of them now… where you here before ?!”
Yes… yes he was and I was waiting for you to go talk to him but you ran away for 15 minutes 😂
Don't forget your Hip lantern!
I’m sooooo excited!! The Queen is back again for Elden Ring DLC! ❤
incomprehensible lore, gab commentary, and goobus shenanigans??? oh we are SO BACK im SO hyped for this to become my personality for the next while hehehhehehe
I recommend switching the Glinstone Pebble for 'Night Comet'! It's a little more expensive, but still less expensive than Comet, but the NPC can't read your casting input ("night" sorcery) so they don't dodge it. You can charge it too, so it's a cute little spell to take out mobs from a distance when you're not willing to commit to a full Comet yet. ;)
I agreed I use the staff of loss +19 on the offhand while using carian regal scepter +10, charged up the night comet spell and they pretty much kill common enemie on one shot.
New items exclamation mark is a toggle-able setting! You can also set it to automatically go to the most recent item you picked up
Deliberately not watched ANYONE else's playthrough until Gab uploaded hers! I genuinely want my first view of the DLC to be through Gabs vibe!
YES!!!!! I'm so excited to watch! Your initial playthrough was by far the best way to experience the game secondhand.
You can find a new katana to replace moonveil in the cerulean coast. It’s pretty cool
Can't believe you beat Blackgaol Knight in one try. I died SO MANY times.
I also died a bunch. I ended up busting out the Carian Knight's Sword and just using its Ash of War to bonk him down, because it takes him a long time to get up and I can charge up the skill again, so I just trapped him in and endless bonk.
@@aettic BONKKKKKKKKKKKKK
So excited for your playthrough! I was a bit anxious to play a soulslike game but ended up playing over 200 hours Elden Ring after watching your base game playthrough. ❤
Same!!
I have been waiting for THIS!
We are so baaaaack
Edit : I always appreciate your thoroughness in exploring and taking your time therefore it’s not boring at all :) I enjoy it a lot cuz I always find stuff I missed in my own playthrough
Hi Gab! We have pretty similar builds, so I thought I’d share this!
The Backhand Blade thingy you found? Absolutely amazing. I kept the ash it had, and modified it to have frost affinity instead. At 10+ it has B scaling in both INT and DEX (similar to moonveil). It’s ash of war saved my hide from getting whipped so many times. It’s like a bloodhound step without i-frames (gives you lot of mobility) and then you also hit their vulnerable point. I’m running Alexander’s Jar Shard talisman and it can hit up to 2.5k. Absolutely crazy. It also has a very neat effect is if you hold it and two-hand it, you will be dual-wielding the weapon. Which is sick! 10/10 recommend! ❤️
I don’t know if you remembered by now but your moonveil has those 2 special magic move attacks 🙂
You are my favorite online gamer. You don't force it. You seem natural, humble, and authentic. Your comments and humor isn't forced with obnoxious energy like a shock jock radio DJ. Plus your one of the few mage builds I see. I love that you're willing to do something different. Just want to share my appreciation for your entertaining content.
Elden Ring was one of the first playthroughs of yours I watched. I’ve enjoyed watching you play so many games now. Glad to be back here today 🧡
For anyone worried about the giant fire dudes, they aren't as hard as you'd think....
... Just horse and poke thier feet until they fall, horse jumping over the fire stomps ; it will seem like they're not taking much damage, but a crit to the face when they fall does the trick.
I killed all the fire giants on my feet using a great club
The first 20min of Gab warming up to the controls and the game itself gave me so much anxiety, especially with the horse climbing on the roof LOL
I feel like this is going to be an awesome video!
We’re so back !!
So happy for the return of Goobers and Tiche. Get em Tiche!
i'M SO GLAD you are doing the DLC and with your old character! I will watch all these videos like I did the OG playthrough!
Your Elden Ring playthrough is one of my favorites, I'm so excited to see you tackle the dlc! Also, a really good spell you could get is Night Comet, found in a chest in Sellia. It can be charged just like the regular Comet, but is "invisible" so enemies don't dodge it and costs 3 less FP. Not only that, but when paired with the Staff of Loss, it gets a 30% damage boost. So you could stack the Staff of Loss buff with your Lusat's staff to get even more damage!
Happy to have you back! You need to go into your Settings>Display to turn on Mark New Items/Show Recent Items Tab.
This is a great tip!
Gab's playthroughs are always my fave because I know she'll be as thorough as possible!
SO EXCITED!! Don't feel bad about being rusty, I think almost everyone is lol.
I love how you and Sean have completely different play styles. Helps get more out of the game watching you both. 😊
YESSS
Gab your Elden Ring playthrough was amazing. I appreciate how thorough you are and how you want to explore everything. It’s never boring to me! :)
I want to play Elden Ring since it is so beautiful and lore rich, but it’s intimidating. I tried dark souls and… didn’t get very far at all :,)
So I am excited to see what happens!
Not boring at all Gab! I love exploring every inch of the map 😂 I also have the same shield :3
1:34:54 That is so sweet
There are so many people playing, but nothing beats a Gab run! Thank you
I love watching you because you do so much exploring (not the only reason tho), and I am sure I am not alone, so dont worry that its boring, we love this
Hey Gab, I'm in a financially unstable situation right now, so I can't afford this new DLC. But watching this playthrough has been my outlet for Elden Ring and I just wanted to thank you! Always such a joy to watch you play games.
I love coming here after watching Sean's Bonk run. It's cool seeing the different approaches to the game
7:00 I think that first dude is just the "welcoming committee", a warm-up fight to help returning players knock the rust off. 1:05:12 "I live, I die, I live again!" I'm enjoying the hell out of watching you and Seán play this, because you have two totally different builds and two vastly different approaches to overcoming the challenges presented. Wonderful!
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ALL DAY LETS GOOOO 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I love how often Gab asks if something is friendly, it's cute that she wants to befriend some of the weird creatures like the giant goat and the glowing worms with tiny arms
OMG guys it's GOOBUSSS
YAY! So excited you are playing this Gab!
both you and Sean went “Brother eughhh what is that” in your first elden ring dlc video 😂😂😂
Yesss!! I kept up with your playthrough as uploads came out 2 years ago and it's still one of my comfort playthroughs from you! Have been eagerly waiting to see you play through the DLC and I can't wait to watch everything 🥹💗
My Queen just watched the king (Sean).. Play through quick coffee ☕ and back in. Can't wait to watch how you play this. 👍
"You shoot magic at the face hehehehe"
Gab you are awsome ❤❤❤ 😂😂😂😂😂
The torch guy was coning to ask if you heard our lord and savor bonk
I've been rewatching your OG Elden Ring playthrough for the past few weeks in preparation for this! So excited for more of this series!!
I just finished your main play through and had a hell of a time watching! I was just thinking to myself, what a long game that was. And then Gab feeds us with the DLC
Hell yeah! 🥳🥳
I’ve watched the Elden Ring play through 4 times!! So hyped for this 👏👏
This is so fuuuun I’m always revisiting your Elden Ring playlist I’m so happy it’s the same character as well!!!
Goobus has returned!
LETS GOOOO!!!! I started playing with my boyfriend last night and was so excited and hopeful that you’d do the dlc!!!!
All of your soulsborne and elden ring content are so comforting to me lol a lot to unpack there 😅 BUT I've been obsessing over this dlc for weeks now, just rabbit holing lore ect. I've been most excited for your playthrough tho and purposely have stayed away from major spoilers. So glad you've posted this. Cant wait to experience this with you 🧡🧡🧡
> "it looks like ghost fire!"
> "ghostflame dragon" is literally on the boss health bar
never change, gab
hey gab! most of the spells you use are still pretty good but you should try using the Night sorceries as well, like Night Comet, theyre pretty good, fast, and most enemies can't dodge them since they're supposed to be invisible! hope this helps
After Seán fast paced playthrough it's so nice to chill with yours, I love how methodical you are and how you take your time to explore
Those ghostly worms at 37:00 really makes me think of various spirits featured in Studio Ghibli films. Like the Kodama in Princess Mononoke.
I'm so hype!! The Goobs is backkkkk!
Elden ring was the first series I watched you play after finding you through your nancy drew playthroughs. So awesome to come back to it!
It makes me weirdly happy to hear that you and Sean play co-op of Elden Ring! I imagine you guys have a lot of fun together
I'm a couple days late to watching, but I'm really excited because your Elding Ring series was the first series I remember watching in length on your channel. So its really fun to come back!! You have such a comforting vibe about you. I'm excited to catch up to where you're at!!
You may know this already, but Margit or Mogh's shackle can be used to check for invisible walls or to break the cairns/rock piles on the spirit springs. The shackles have a large hit box and invis walls have a hit point of 1 which the shackle will do, so nice for checking stuff. I don't think it works on areas you have to emote to open/unlock though.
Welcome back to Elden Ring!!! Just started watching, so I hope you didn't die a lot in-game from being rusty. Happy to hear that BB is doing better! I am always rooting for his health! Can't wait to see the next part!
Edit: Nevermind, less than twenty seconds in "I am incredibly rusty." LOL You'll get the hang of it again in no time.
I’m so pumped to be able to see you play through this!!!
i'm tired from midsummer day activity, but i'll try to watch this ^^' hopefully my coffee will help
Love your videos!
I just started playing the dlc today. So happy to be back!
So beyond excited to see the continuing adventures of Goobus! Your original Elden Ring lets play is one of my ultimate comfort series, so I hope you have fun with the dlc!
2:11:59 That's hilarious, Gab! Omg I was not expecting that 😂
Just wanted to say love the videos, been watching for a while. I am a long time fan of Sean and all of his content as well, been watching him for years and I think both of you are awesome! Thanks for all the great playthroughs, I absolutely love to kick back and watch, you guys make us feel like we are right there playing it with you!
Excited to watch you play the dlc! Elden Ring is how i found you -- i remember going through multiple streamers playing it (that i wasn't enjoying) until i found your channel. And I've been here ever since!
I played from dlc drop midnight until 3:30 am , only stopped because I was thinking about the sunrise coming soonish. This new "-game - " is great.
The fact that you defeated the Blackgaol Knight in the mausoleum on your first go!! I’m stunned.
I'm so excited to watch you play through this. I played Elden Ring because of you! Let me tell ya though, I have not struggled in this game to the extent that I have thusfar in the DLC. May the Elden Ring be with you gab 😭
I watched every episode of your Elden Ring playthrough back when the game came out 😌
This is so much fun! I'm enjoying myself! Thank you so much, Gab and editor!
1:31:52 When you said that's a dragon, I did not believe you and I was mistaken 😅 that was a keen perception check you did Gab!
the spell sounds brought me back to your play through, can’t believe it’s been so long!
In the base game From Soft done such a great job of making each area feel culturally unique, it's not just the same architectural and design cues repeated throughout The Lands Between, they feel very much lived-in and totteringly ancient in their own right. Glad to see the DLC is already living up to that standard :D
I'm so excited for this!! I recently started the dlc and I'm so stressed already lol
I’m gonna finish watching this later but yaaaaas bb we out here in the lands of shadow I’m so hype to watch this 🙌 if it wasn’t for me watching your og playthrough I don’t think I would be into the game as much so honestly ty dude 💜
Is it possible for you to play Tsugunohi again I found their new game call "The Smell of Death - A Tsugunohi Tale - STEAM EDITION" It release on stream 5-6 months ago it not typital walking on left like normal Tsugunohi instead this is walk forward with first person view.
And it also longer than typical tsugunohi story you finished them in 1 hours the story is about the cursed called death smell and it will try to drag human into the world of the death until they met with their cruel fate on "The hexed day".
After watching your Elden Ring Let’s Play, I am filled with joy to see you play the DLC. I can totally relax when watching you play ❤
gabbbbb i have been waiting for your playthrough! this is gonna be super funn ❤️
Yay! I’m so glad you uploaded today! Can’t wait to see what happens! ❤
That tree strat with the mega goat not-frend was on point for a while. 😊
i'm outta the loop on new game release stuff, so i had no idea that a DLC was coming and i'm so excited for this playthrough! i was literally just gonna watch your main game play for a 3rd time lol
Its cool watching a different build...im used to watching Sean and his Bonk builds.
I’m SO excited been looking forward to you playing this since it was announced
Love this video and I‘m exited for the series❤
I was never interested enough in Elden Ring to watch the original playtrough and only clicked on this out of idle curiosity, but omg if the entire game looks this awesome I might have to watch the full series. Also, that first character's voice is so smooth and sexy, omg. 😍So happy you're back, Gab, hope you recovered from the stress of the vet visits and that Sean and especially BB are doing good too! 🍀
Oh def check out the first playthrough. This game is gorgeous and fun to watch!
Tip 1 :The fire giants(furnace golems) have a weakpoint that is that iron mask that they have on top of them, attack the legs until they fall on their knees, when they attack with 1 leg, jump one time, when they attack with both legs, get on torrent and double jump. They are the enemies that will give you the tears that you use in the tear flask.
Tip 2: explore the whole map to get the items that you will need to upgrade the blessing that increase your attack and defense.
Tio 3: try to make all quests, because you will unlock 2 summons that you will be able to use against the final boss( literally the hardest boss of the dlc). Make all the quests before unlocking the last area of the dlc
I've gave you this tips before seeing the whole video
After 2 years im still waiting for your other playthrough with another build. You're genuinely the only gamer i love to watch❤️
at 33:51 Gab worries about her PLaystyle of exploring and I wanted to say that I actually really enjoy exactly this! People are rarely so thorough and I'd like to believe many people watch Gab because of it. So if you by chance read this Gab: please don't be too worried about it!
I believe Miyazaki had said that the DLC map would be "roughly the size of Limgrave" - now, I'm not sure if he meant both Limgrave and the Weeping Peninsula, or just Limgrave proper, but even if it's the former, I still feel like this map is significantly larger than those parts of the base game, and the biggest reason for it is the verticality and the circuitous pathing. The DLC's world is laid out masterfully, with paths and twist and turn and overlap, sending you over the same point of the map sometimes up to three or four times. With all these layers converging in on each other, they were able to pack so much square footage into a relatively condensed map. At the same time, it feels vast and expansive, and at least for me it never feels cramped at all.
Great to see you back in the ring world!
Gab first trying the guy I struggled so long with the same magic build was incredible to watch
