You guys should look at getting an exhaust fan mounted over the rollup door, when things get really smoky, it'll pull the air out of the shop, rather than having to make the fans blow stuff around.
Probably some dumb regulation against that. They made me remove the fan from my welding shop that blew outside, I can weld out there, just not blow the fumes there. I am in Ontario, Canada, so it might be a bit different down there, but I doubt that Florida could be any more sensible.
You have to be like 9. Explaining what an exhaust fan is to these guys. I promise you they know what it is.

I work in the car business . During cash for clunkers , we had to blow the engines up on all the cars that were traded in . The government sent us a fluid to put in the oil to seize the motor . Ofc we didn't use this. We draimed the oil , and let em run with absolutely no oil at all , some took over an hour to seize , with no oil at all ! We drove em around , floored em etc . It was ashame to see so many nice cars , and perfectly good engines go to waste . But , it was amazing to see how long they took to actually fail !

That old S10 engine is a beast! When I was 17 my dad had one and he basically gave me free will to do whatever I wanted to with it. I beat the hell out of that thing! And it loved it!

My friend used to have a blazer with a 2.8 when we were in highschool.. He used to put it in 4-low, neutral drop it off the redline and it would pull tiny wheelies. Engine never died from that, trans never blew out, U-joints never blew out... He had that truck until years after we got out of school.
It ended up dying from his bogging expeditions. All the muddy water ended up seizing one of the pulleys up front while he was going down the highway. Belt snapped, pistons made good friends with the valves and she was history.

Hey guys for future educational experiments you can always grab an old cold air intake pipe and a duct tape it vertically over the throttle body. Then bore a few extra holes in it for all the different injectors. Keep them about 6” up from the throttle body to give it good chance for thorough atomization. But hell yea brother! Let them bald eagles fly!

Nice! Make a little wet shot contraption That clamps onto your throttle body or carbs or whatever you want to blow up.
Just need: Fuel Pump,motorcycle battery, mini e90 tank, monster injector, a PWM dimmer, solenoid, fuel pressure gauge, Flow regulator,A few An fittings and fuel Line. You know just a few things.
I'm not sure what was more insane. Blowing up an engine meters away from a brand new 30.000 dollars lsx engine (Leroy 2.5) effectively contaminating it before it's even installed, or spraying open fire at the NOS bottle when cleetus was shooting at your feet. Anyway, keep it up!

I’ve ran my pickup with a 400 small block on 190 proof for a few minutes so that it would pass smog. I put two gallons of it in my second fuel tank and flipped the switch when I pulled it into the shop. It ran fine just a little hot and somehow I managed to pass smog.

That S10 is clean (except the motor, obviously). Reminds me of my old 1991 ext cab S10 in that color. Lowered 5/7, 4.3L bored over with a GM performance cam that had a lot of overlap, converted to an Edelbrock carb and intake, long tubes, posi-trac, and 3.73 gearing. All that and it was barely faster than stock haha. But that V6 had a mean chop at idle.
Also, I’ve always felt like the 4.3 fell off earlier than any other engine and Jeremy said this one makes peak at 4K so whatdoyaknow.

the dale truck is on the car lift the wrong way lol. the hydraulic lifts are on the side the engine weight should be on. not the opposite lol. lucky that things bolted down good
Why would it matter what way it is on there? Do they not come with a lift capacity like every other hoist?
d j do you not have common sense? Do you see where the actual mechanical lifts are? They are off to one side. Yes everything has it’s capacity but it can be compromised by improper weight distribution.

So to your question, yes I do, and I would nose onto that lift as well. I guess if it is light enough it doesn't matter, Leroy was on there the other way earlier on in the video.

Got an idea... Next time you guys are trying to jerry-rig fuel to an intake... you could've drilled an undersized hole in bottom center of dew can so you can screw it onto the all-thread, and have pre-drilled holes under can for each port and ziptie all your fuel (etc) hoses to top of can in the mouth piece. Bottles work too if you happen to have a liter of cola.
