    I had 3 major surgeries so far . 1st when i was 26 , 2nd when i was 32 and 3rd i last year 2021 when i was 35.
Suggestions - Corporate employees should always take the max benefit of health insurance. Also when change of company always continue the insurance . I had national insurance and they paid full amount always . I have personal insurance also of star and they cover most expenses 90%.

Attention - In case you'll be claiming your health insurance, make sure to choose a hospital that does not fraudulently claim excess amount from your insurance provider thereby reducing the overall cover that would be left for you in that year. Here is the example -
Let's say A got admitted into a hospital for a surgery that costed 2 Lakh overall. Nowadays, everything being cashless, the hospitals generate a bill for such surgeries up to double the actual amount i.e 4 Lakhs and get it from insurance companies.
Now ideally after the surgery, if A had a total cover of 5 Lakhs then he must be left with 3 Lakhs but that's not the case, they're only left with 1 Lakh.
This scam is running wide open and one of my friends who supervises TPA in one such hospital introduced me to it.

    • @diybankingwithamandeep5983

Yes it will be covered bcoz the disease was not diagnosed before making this claim. Only that disease is considered as pre-existing which was already diagnosed at the time of buying the insurance policy. The idea behind this Clause is that the person buying insurance should not hide any already diagnosed disease at the time of buying the first policy hope I was able to help!

      1. Since waiting period is already exhausted, no waiting period will be there.
      2. You need to talk to insurance company. opt for a insurance with coverage of Diabetes.

Hi Sir, My Laser Kidney Stone Surgery was done in 2011. I have taken medical insurance from aditya birtla in Aug 2022 and this is my first time, I am taking any heath insurance plan. I didn't inform them about my surgery. Will it create problem to get the claim in future?
