- WAG-9HH is a 9000Hp Electric Locomotive manufactured for hauling Freights. I was waiting for a day when I am lucky enough to see and capture with express train load. It made my day.
Have a look at how quickly and jerk free, 9000Hp TKD WAG-9HH# 90027 starts accelerating from Boisar with 22 Coach Long Bandra Terminus Vapi Passenger.
Camera: SONY FDR AX700
Excellent work nice honking and mad acceleration
Really overpowered but yes WAG-9H is too powerful and a beast
Thanks a lot. No doubt wag9 is very very powerful loco but wag9hh is a superpower
What a Acceleration 🔥🔥
Green WAG-9 😍
Thanks a lot. Made my day
Really supreme unique captures
Thanks a lot
That Sound Was Awesome and Accelaration also
Thanks for watching
Just outstanding acceleration by a freight monster. I can't understand one thing that why WR is giving or rather wasting WAP 7 behind such trains like Vapi passenger and Valsad passenger. WAP 7 is a high class locomotive which should be utilised in premium trains. Railways is wasting WAP 7 here and on the other side, some premium and special trains are running with WAG 9, so disgusting.
I fully agree with you. Where have the WAP-4s gone ?
@@peterasp1968 Few Wap4s are used for High Rise pantograph sections, since there are overshortage of Wap7, now few Wap5 are used for 130kph and even wap4 are used for 130kph trains. Thats why they are discontinued from shuttle services. Very rarely they are given for passenger duties.
Thanks a lot. After introduction of vande Bharat express they have lessened production of wap7s, hardly Wap5 are manufactured. I dont know why. Atleast manufacture more Wap7 at faster rate until sleeper version of vande Bharat express starts in full swing
@arzan1980 In Sep 23, I traveled by the ADI BCT DD from NVS.Its power link was a WAP-4, and both the acceleration and speed were nothing compared to the WAP-7 Only once did we cross 125 kph and that for a few minutes. Otherwise, it was 98-108 kph.
@@arzan1980 I believe WAP-5 production was terminated in 2020 or 2021. Only 220 have been built.
nice capture...why they started extending the loco shed names?
Thanks a lot. In future they are planning 100 percent electric thats why shed names will be els and no more dls. Thats what I am assuming
Mast
Thanks
Super
Thanks a lot
Imagine what could a 9000hp wap 7 version do..that too in push pull mode..that would be a game changer for IR. Also no need for expensive vande Bharats...
Thanks a lot. Railways are trying to reduce locomotive production by bringing these engineless trains
@@arzan1980 Whats the profit?? These engine less trains are unsafe, low build quality (unlike WAP 7/4/5) and more expensive..also draws more electricity from OHE..i dont see a profit here

Nice Video!
Thanks a lot
Are WAP-7s 6350 HP? Thats the same hp as Siemens Taurus.
Yes they are 6350hp and 6000hp continuous but its weaker than Wag7 and wag9
