I have always been wanting to buy a lego set, but due to living in different countries,legos in malaysia are all overpriced and not affordable for me;(

Thats stupid that other countries cause they want extra money even though the price per piece ratio is kinda equal in america not all the time though but mexico has some underpriced sets i know that cause my cousin lives there and says the mexican lego sets are actually cheaper than American markets.
I feel for you guys as ur neighbour in Singapore. The price exchanged to match USD prices is simply, stupid.
Even with 1 SIN dollar to 3.2 MYD, some sets in Malaysia are still more expensive than Singapore.
Not only that, because Malaysia is deemed a lower cost of living country, the monthly salary for a mcdonalds worker is RM1600-2200, and in comparison, take 10303 for example, it cost roughly RM1600 😂
I’m so glad to have picked this up for the price of 70 bucks brand new at the Lego store ! That’s a bang for my buck! Been wanting to build a Lego set since 2008 and finally something that reminds me of my childhood with the complexity for adults to enjoy.

Yesterday I got this for Christmas and I love it, it is so cool!!
I built this last weekend with my 10yo daughter, and we both loved it! I built the original back in 1979 after Santa got me one for Christmas 🙂 The new version stays so true to this yet manages to improve it in almost every way. Your build video is incredible, and I loved watching what took us a couple of days done in less than 10 minutes. Thanks

Yeah, I've spent months working on a 1,000 piece LEGO set, and this guy uploads every few days.
I managed to build my Updated Galaxy Explorer set in two days while I had gas on top of that

It's such a cool detail that all the colors used here were available when the original 497/928 was made! Great video :D (Apart from LBG of course, but that replaced old gray, so they couldn't use it in this model)

I just bought this set today, only thing now is playing the waiting game.
By far the best new LEGO model this August. Got mine yesterday, and it is awesome! I really like that they added the little robot dude, which was not in the original set.
In this set they forgot the one and only Benny the guy who screams SPACESHIP!

I remember having a smaller ship also grey and blue with yellow cockpit windows and in it taking my first steps exploring the universe... Good times.
If you dont mind me asking, do you use anything under the blocks to keep them so still while adding pieces? Love the videos, keep it up!
I use a sticky putty that is more commonly used to hang posters.
@@allnewbricks How do you get it off?
@@onewaytochrist he probably doesn't push the putty too deep into the bottom. Just enough to where it sticks. All that's left to do is be extremely precise and attentive to not move a single brick. And if it gets too stuck then it's nothing a good pair of tweezers and maybe some paper towel to wipe off any excess putty can't fix.

It seems you're building (or disassembling?) it in a different order than what the official instructions suggest.
And I guess that's for the better because the original order sucks. The spaceship doesn't hold together until you build it almost completely.

This lego set gives me memories or my dad, my dad died in a car crash in 2015 my mom let me buy this lego set bc it reminds me of my dad. He had lego too he loved it when he was younger but when he died things got hard for my mom, my dad had lego from 1880 I think, a classic space set.
