question if you get your skins for tradeups from sites like buff or others then how do you keep the profit (so you could use it again) instead of just locking it to your steam account when selling the skin
You can sell them on buff as well, you might not get as much profit but it’s way easier to trade since there is way more availability in floats. Once you’ve built up some profit you can cash out in steam once in a while. Only problem is run into so far is that you have 7 day cooldown after doing a trade up.
cooldown as in you are not able to trade it to buff or anyone else? also would it be better to sell it on other sites like dmarket or skinsbaron for example?@@teunvanderiet9675
hey, i just sold my skin on buff but for some reason my mobile steam app not showing any offer/just showing error, so i tried to relog the steam mobile app and confirm the trade, but now the trade is now on hold for 2 days cause i relog the mobile app, and the buff status showing pending delivery at this point is everything just fine? i just need to wait till the item got through to the buyer right and got the payment? or the buyer still can cancel after getting my item? im worried with this one please help :(
I’m honestly not sure. I think everything will be fine as long as there’s nothing on buff with a timer and you confirmed it through steam mobile. If you confirmed it and then it gave the hold I’m really not sure. WORST case scenario you will have a few day buff sale restriction but you will keep the skin and have to resell it once all is settled.
@@WiterallyCS yeah there is no time limit and the buff notification just tell me not to cancel it cause it will go through after 48 hours, hope everything will be fine, thanks for the help!

No matter what the topic is , even outside of CS, you can ALWAYS learn from 0, everyone has to start somewhere :) my advice is just study trusted people in the scene and learn by taking part. The more you trade and watch videos the more you’ll pick up on and you’ll be a pro in no time. I’m by no means a pro but I only started seriously trading and learning about skins about a year ago and I’m much more knowledgeable now

I just ran into 2 small problems.
I could not sell the TF2 keys as explained in the video on how to deposit balance. It seems to be there is no longer a TF2 market on buff?
2nd problem is that when you fimish a trade up, you have to wait a week before you can sell it on Buff. This means that if you trade a lot, only money goes out of your balance but nothing comes in for a week. By the time you can finally sell, the price and so your profit might have dropped.
How to work around this?
Yes unfortunately for some I think TF2 was removed. I'd recommend finding a balance trader. I can send you one if you message me on discord. Secondly, yes sadly if you decide to sell items on buff you will need to wait the week and hope the items have gone up in that time rather than down.

I've been using BUFF163 from the US for years, but lately I see a lot more 3rd party markets with lower prices. Any idea why?
This could be attributed to the popularization of other marketplaces also, some of them have lower fees
Buff some a lot of quick success bc it was the primary Chinese marketplace and there are TONS of Chinese players and it had very low fees

I have a problem with making a buff account: i fill in my phone number but i dont get a message on my iphone with the code. Does anyone have a solution? Now i get an error for trying to many times. Im from the Netherlands btw so its not that im from NA or something. pls help!!11!!!
Lots of people have had this exact issue and I still occasionally get it when signing in (since buff signs you out every 10 days) the only answer is to wait. Try again tomorrow, if it doesn’t work, wait a few days. Every person who has had this issue (including myself) always has it resolved shortly :)

Yes but it is also a process to download net ease buff on IOS if you are from the US or CAN. Once downloaded, it’s easy
