The Samurai Plot Twist was a lowly compromise on the original plot story: In the original story, the male Red ranger was a street orphan who at a young age was taken in to protect the true Red ranger, the girl (who was even younger) until she grew up and took the role. In the end, she decided to formally adopt him into the Shiba family, making her his mother despite being younger. However it was deemed far too complex a plot for most audiences, so they made them siblings instead.
For my money, the A-Squad turning traitor and being legitimately evil rather than brainwashed, is one of the coolest moments in Power Rangers history. It's the proof that Power Rangers NEEDS to move in a more adult direction.
How about when the Mystic Force figured out to their shock that Leanbow was Koragg the Knight Wolf AND Nick's Father as well? Not even an honourable mention? Or does that all technically interconnect to the Bowen spot?
They didn't even mention, Lothor is Cam's uncle, from Ninja Storm. Everyone thought Lothor was just the series' big bad, until that reveal of his relationship with Sensei and Cam in, The Samurai's Journey. I always thought that was one of the cooler plot twists in Power Rangers.
kcsupersonic1 interesting fact about ninja storm it was originally going to be called power rangers hexagon. Before Disney’s takeover. Tommy was going to be the mentor of the wind ninja rangers and their powers would have come from ninjor. They would have been in conflict with the thunder ninja as they would have been a rival team doing things differently. But that was scrapped. Now that idea wasnt totally lost bc super sentai ended up using that same idea of two main ranger teams fighting the common enemy for different reasons and different ways of fighting. See lupinranger vs patoranger its the closes thing we will ever get to power rangers hexagons story
Giselle Armendariz at least super sentai didnt let that go to waste they adapted the idea into lupinranger vs patroranger. One team fighting to get back what they lost (lupinranger) and one team fighting to protect world peace (patroranger). Just like what could have happened in hexagon both teams are fighting for what they believe in is the best solution. So in a sense the idea wasnt lost. I highly recommend watching that super sentai.

imagine if RPM was a netflix show with original suits and zords free from sentai nonsense. They could still do self parody but not be forced to because the monsters and zords look ridiculous. The sentai was a comedy season, and they made it the most mature Power Rangers season... lol
“She finally has the chance to choose her own path” I love Karone, that number one spot was definitely earned and I’m glad she came back for Legendary Battle as well
Karone's Arc is one of the best stories in classic Power Rangers. The deception she was involved in and her redemption was very dramatic. Her arise as hero after the death of the Pink Galaxy Ranger is as epic as the return of the Time Force Pink Ranger in Wild Force.
Yes! Definitely. We could see it entirely, like in that moment in Lost Galaxy she remembered she turned some guy into stone, she ask him for forgiveness andtñ the guys comes back to life to give Leo the Battle Mode.
Maybe its nostalgia, but I though it had a great original look and ambience. Most other series had a quality that made it obvious they were originally filmed in Japan.
It's a series with great highs but some frustrating lows. The acting was a bit off, especially after the amazing performances in Time Force, the Kite subplot was painful, and the last 10 minutes of the finale is pretty lackluster (especially after how great the finale was up until that point) That being said, the action is still top notch, the characters and villains are definitely pretty strong, and both team ups are fantastic. I still enjoy Wild Force but it's far from my favorite and it would just miss my Top 10 favorite series!
I'm a bit stunned as well. Backstory: The actress who played Kendrix was sick during production and had to take a medical leave, so they had to remove her character while bringing in Karone to be her temporary replacement. However Kendrix came back in the finale and their crossovers with Lightspeed.
My favorite will always be when it was revealed that Doctor K, the robotic and spandex-hating creator of the RPM Rangers, created Venjix. That hit me hard and make me love Doctor K more.
@@SheriffOutlaw yeah if you're talking about Power Rangers RPM, i watched it about 3 years ago or so and I'm 17 now but watched it and loved it. I also had a toy of the red ranger way back when, i didn't know who was under the helmet and that bugged me.
It was supposed to have a much darker ending where it was revealed that dillon was going to be Venjix's final body and all of his sister being lost story was his way of gaining everyone's trust. So they finally had to kill Dillon. But Disney didn't let that happen...
Seeing this video alone bring me back nostalgia of why I loved the old Power Rangers and like the new. And the only moments that got me the most was everything in Lightspeed Rescue.
Lightspeed is criminally overlooked as one of the most solid seasons. It legit has content that can catch a haters eye and hold their interest. Most season can't say that. mostly just the Post Zordon era and a few Disney seasons here and there.
All through the video I kept thinking if Astronema/Karone reveal wasn't the top pic I would throw my computer/riot. So happy that it was number one because it was so brilliant. I feel like in some ways it paved the way for some of the later reveals in following Power Ranger seasons.
Honestly, I didn’t think Nick being Bowen was that much of a shock. With the not-so subtle clues dropped, you could see that a mile off. I thought the real jaw-dropper in Mystic Force was Koragg turning out to be Leanbow. As much as I loved the Zen Aku arc, one of the better twists in Wild Force, I think it should be an honorable mention and Cole’s parents being killed by Master Org in that spot. And YES!! Thank you for including Frax! It needs to be higher than 6!

I knew about that revelation before Beast Morphers aired in the US since I already knew the Beast Morphers is an adaption of Super Sentai Go-Buster 2 the series that is the direct sequel to Super Sentai Go-Buster the Sentai series RPM was the adaption of.
Man, I don't care how old I get. I freaking love Power Rangers. I've especially enjoyed the Boom comics series, some of the best storytelling I've seen in comics recently. Hopefully, the two new comic series launching soon will continue being great.

In RPM it would have been an even bigger shock if they had kept the original plot for Dillon. The past he knew was supposed to be completely false including having a sister. They were implanted memories to make it easier for the Power Rangers to accept him. He was supposed to be the ultimate body for Venjix.

Basically the 25th anniversary special shown that several rangers have a device that allows for inter dimensional travel. Beast morpers is a series that seemingly takes place in the main universe where several rangers have given their tech to help develop a way to harness the morphing grid into an energy source

In space and lost galaxy were the two greatest seasons of Power rangers in my opinion. So glad that the Astronema twist was #1 right there in my opinion was the Magna defender-Zika-Mike storyline from lost galaxy. Mike becoming the magna defender for the first time is an all-time great scene

Rpm will be one of the best power rangers series in all of power rangers because the backstorys, character development, plot twist, storytelling, and villains was all top tier and I will forever live by that and I feel the same way about in space

i think the last one i watched was Time Force....where there was a secret police force that included a red ranger, and if i'm not mistaken, a ranger from the future is trying to prevent the death of a modern day ranger..... if i recall, the near end of time force ended when the chief bad guy (Vernon Wells) went from bad to good and helped the rangers....unfortunately, i missed a huge portion of this show as i missed out on RPD/Space/and ninja (1995) where they merged the 1995 movie and were dealing with bird like creatures. another one i partially saw was the machine empire, and rita and zedd were beboppin around in an RV, trying to get rid of the machine empire.....

But that was a good twist!! We were always confused why Mr Hartford never wanted to be close to his son even though they had so many good memories growing up to find out that he was a robot. You start to put all the pieces together and discover that he was a robot all along
Wouldn’t the number 1 plot twist be Kendrix actually sacrificing herself for the space pink ranger and dying only to pass the alter to atronoma. Cause nobody saw that coming and that’s better than your number 1 in my opinion.
I remember being shocked as a kid learning who Astronema was. A few of these villains had some tragic and dark origins for a kids' show. I'm honestly interested in reading the Omega Rangers comic. Jason was always one of my favorite Rangers as a kid. Knowing his story actually continues as a Ranger has me interested.
Had the transition to Disney not been made and Cole's parents needed to not be dead, it would have been revealed that Jindrax and Toxica were Cole's parents transformed into Orgs.

The Late Saban-early Disney era was the many Power Rangers series I watched when I was younger.
Naaaaaaambre in Mexico wild force was one of the best and most watching series. And actually the most remembering

Man, I don't care how old I get. I freaking love Power Rangers. I've especially enjoyed the Boom comics series, some of the best storytelling I've seen in comics recently. Hopefully, the two new comic series launching soon will continue being great.

In RPM it would have been an even bigger shock if they had kept the original plot for Dillon. The past he knew was supposed to be completely false including having a sister. They were implanted memories to make it easier for the Power Rangers to accept him. He was supposed to be the ultimate body for Venjix.
What about the plot twist of Zordon wanting to not be saved but to killed so that his goodness can revert those that were evil to good

Basically the 25th anniversary special shown that several rangers have a device that allows for inter dimensional travel. Beast morpers is a series that seemingly takes place in the main universe where several rangers have given their tech to help develop a way to harness the morphing grid into an energy source
Beast Morphers exists in the main timeline. The only known separate universes are RPM and Dino Charge.

Actually, I am a little confused about the power transfer; for the peace conference, they needed to get a sword to transfer their ranger powers but when it was Kimberly's turn, she just gave her power coin to Kat and it was a done deal...
In space and lost galaxy were the two greatest seasons of Power rangers in my opinion. So glad that the Astronema twist was #1 right there in my opinion was the Magna defender-Zika-Mike storyline from lost galaxy. Mike becoming the magna defender for the first time is an all-time great scene
I loved RPM and time force, the acting and stories in both were great. I even liked operation overdrive for being different.
Zen-Aku one was kinda built up well which makes a good plot twist as you can rewatch it.
Big ups to the RPM mention for Tenaya 7. The acting from Adelaide Kane as Tenaya was one of the best performances in this entire franchise IMO.

The Mac being an android starts to make sense when you start to realize that Mr Hartford rarely show love towards Mac even though they have a photo book of memories when Mac was growing up. Then to find out he was an Android, you start to put the pieces together

Rpm will be one of the best power rangers series in all of power rangers because the backstorys, character development, plot twist, storytelling, and villains was all top tier and I will forever live by that and I feel the same way about in space

Power Ranger in Space it was the last one I got to watch. liked it a lot.
i think the last one i watched was Time Force....where there was a secret police force that included a red ranger, and if i'm not mistaken, a ranger from the future is trying to prevent the death of a modern day ranger..... if i recall, the near end of time force ended when the chief bad guy (Vernon Wells) went from bad to good and helped the rangers....unfortunately, i missed a huge portion of this show as i missed out on RPD/Space/and ninja (1995) where they merged the 1995 movie and were dealing with bird like creatures. another one i partially saw was the machine empire, and rita and zedd were beboppin around in an RV, trying to get rid of the machine empire.....
I stopped watching after Jungle Fury. I've seen clips of the more recent seasons, but I just haven't watched any of the seasons regularly in years.

I remember being shocked as a kid learning who Astronema was. A few of these villains had some tragic and dark origins for a kids' show. I'm honestly interested in reading the Omega Rangers comic. Jason was always one of my favorite Rangers as a kid. Knowing his story actually continues as a Ranger has me interested.
