- In November 1985, ITN followed Prince Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales on their visit to the US capital. Charles and Diana were received at the White House by President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan on the day of their arrival. During their four-day visit, the royal couple graced a number of star-studded receptions and charity events attended by celebrities including Gloria Vanderbilt, Estee Lauder, David Hockney, Tom Selleck, Clint Eastwood, John Travolta, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Joan Collins, and others!

What a Queen Princess Diana would have been!!
I was 15 yrs old when the Royal couple came over across the pond. It was a huge deal. We all loved Princess Diana so much here!! 👑👑👑👑👑🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊

You can clearly see the jealousy Charles had for Diana. A proper husband would be proud of his wife, letting her shine. It irritated Charles when his wife got more attention than him.
That’s why the women he’s married to now and all along worked great he knew she’d never get or take his spotlight win win for him
If you put yourself in his place. It would be a bit disappointing at times but it is not something Diana asked for or could control. He wanted her to be loved and she was. He could considered that at these times
Diana looking miserable during Charles’s speech becoz she knows the truth. This marriage is a sham and he’s in love with another woman. Imagine, the world’s most glamorous woman not being loved by the only person she wants to love her.
