    Love it well done! Not sure for me personally if I could do the up keep for my rats but maybe I'll start small for a dig box during free roam. Look forward to your next video

    How did you make the perspex walls together to make them waterproof? Thanks!

      @FaithfulRattos  Před měsícem +1

      @rahelroth2608 I use tape and tensol, some people use aquarium silicone

    Did you have any problems with the wheels of the cage and the extra weight?

    • @FaithfulRattos
      @FaithfulRattos  Před 27 dny

      I have it on a dolly. But my friend has the same cage and and the wheels are fine. They have split the cage into the two sections and they use the metal trays as well as a perspex tray inside it

    Did you litter train the rats before introducing bioactive soil? I'm thinking of getting rats and I'm wondering if I should start with bioactive or wait until they are litter trained

      @@anotherpassingpoof yeah, they've always been litter trained tbh. It's very easy to do.

    Do you just keep a part of the colony always in the plastic box?

    Do the tropical grey isopods not climb up your dig box walls?

    • @FaithfulRattos
      @FaithfulRattos  Před 7 měsíci

      Nope

      So, it wouldn't be an issue for me to put into the dig box with the springtails?

    • @FaithfulRattos
      @FaithfulRattos  Před 7 měsíci +1

      @jayruthharris5352 nope, they can't climb the smooth surface of perspex
