It will take more than just Cody to bring it back. We need to stop labels like average joes from signing country rap. Among other things. It will never go back to its original form but if we can at-least get back half it would be something.
There is no one on country radio, and I mean NO ONE, who can touch this man and his vocals. His music is as good as it gets.

@Jon-os2vg meh, I disagree but that's my opinion versus yours. I'm not interested in getting into a pissing match. I'd love to hear Luke Combs sing "When whoever's in New England" like CoJo does. I don't think Combs has the same vocal range but as I say, that's me.
I have often said Cody is this generations George Strait, now he is showing us! I think Cody is at his finest when he does an acoustic performance, but I would be interested in a full band performance with this song too. I would love to see this on an album.

@JackAubreyy Wrong. George was writing way before he had a record deal. Once he was signed, he was introduced to Nashville's stable of writers. He just happened to picked the best songs and made a career out of it. Once his son began writing, George got back into it and has been co writing everything for the past 10-15 years.

CODY!!! I’m 44 grew up listening to the unofficial GOVERNOR of Texas (George strait) glad a hand full of yall old style country singers are around.. country music has gone to SHIT!!! These so called “country singers” don’t even have cattle, ranches, hats hell 98% of them don’t even wear boots or have ridden any kind of livestock.
