Amen. I stay away from the high end products because of the price point. Even singles seem pricey.
I collect Topps Chrome Black, and yet never understood why anyone would buy a box. The same $600 you spent on these boxes you could buy the entire 100-card checklist, parallels of all. I've been tracking my expenses as I complete the sets, and 2020, 2021 and 2022 (all complete) are all under $500 total (add another hundred or so for all of the shipping costs, etc). So, yeah, love the set, but ALWAYS buy the singles.

I totally agree … I buy some of my favorite players, usually #/100 or less, and spend like $10-15 on the card … if that’s the best hit you can get from a box, then whoever bought the box spent about $100 too much for it.
I’ve watch several opening of black. I’ve seen zero with any value. That’s tough

At $89.99 per box I MAY buy this. Coming from a general buyer of retail. Would never spend MSRP even if hobby was all I bought.

In fairness, Chi just keeps it positive on his channel and doesn't really ever trash, give a critical, or negative take on any products out there.
Watched about 5 cases at this point and have yet to see a box worth the cost lol. Painful as always. Hard pass

Excellent video Chi. As far as this product goes, I think it is very overpriced and overrated. You spend $150 to $175 for this box to get a little over $10 to $15 worth of cards which is about what you averaged for these 4 boxes. Granted the Shoei will get you more but overall, I see it as waisted money poorly spent. Keep up the good work and we'll catch you later.

2024 Topps Chrome Black is an awful product. Do not recommend buying, save until regular chrome or buy bowman instead.
