well i use ad blocker 🤫🤫🤫
RESIDENT EVIL!!!! awesome i used to listen to this all night
Again, love the specific titles you think of.
Saferoom theme is the best
@@Zeep_goblin they're the original titles
Save rooms in horror games are so special. They're a place of familiarity, of peace amidst the chaos just outside the door. The Resident Evil 7 theme in particular will always have a special place in my heart. This channel is a "save room" of sorts. Thank you for this!
I was thinking of RE 7 too 😄
That's cool and all but I easily lose that sense of safety in Resident Evil 2
it really is~!
re7 safe room music is so depressing and idk how to describe it but I love it sm it gives such a weird vibe/feeling that I can’t explain
RE2 was my favourite.. the save room theme is very special to me.
Idea for a playlist: “You went for a walk in the woods, but so did someone else”
Ohhh this is a good one. I love the idea of 2 strangers being connected in ways they are unaware, or also the idea of 2 strangers meeting, getting to know each other, and then never seeing each other ever again. Something really powerful about both of these. I guess it shows how connected we all really are without even realizing it, and how if everyone just sat down and talked to one another the world could be a much better place.
And it was me that was walking in the woods with you . Because I like walking in the woods
That sounds interesting. Such a great idea, and it could go either in a pretty wholesome way, or a horribly terrifying way.
would be nice to have some company, like yo demon tell me about how things are like in demon land 😭
Hahahahaha😂😂😂
It’s an old typewriter. You can save your progress with this.
Use ink ribbon?

Yeeeeeeeees please
Yeeeeees please
I'm safe, but eventually I need to go back out there.
I like to think that the comments in this comment section are messages written on the walls of the save room. Just stuff to read so that you know you aren’t the only person who’s faced the horrors just outside. Keep playing who ever you are, we who came before are with you. ❤
That is so fucking special and it makes me cry
I am in the deepest of my depression and your music helps me being here in this dark place. Thanks.
I hope you get better soon.
Stay strong, stranger. I promise you it does get better. ♥
Stay strong, would strongly recommend spending some time in the gym if you are not already doing it, I think it might help
Please stay strong, pray, and God bless.
Not gonna give you advice, I'm just gonna say that even random strangers on the internet are wishing you well and hope you can find your way out of the darkness.
This playlist make me feel so safe, but I have to keep going like a game.
“A ship in harbor is safe - but that is not what ships are built for.” - John A. Shedd
@@tygerk2372 I love this quote.
@@tygerk2372 one of the best quotes I've heard
The world is lying to you. There's nowhere to go. This is your experience. Don't rush, because you are not getting anywhere.
Good luck out there, you’re going to make it.
As a 59 yo italian boomer I found out the genres called dreamware, emptyware etc. only recently, and it was a marvellous surprise that fits perfectly my needs and my childhood memories. Thinking better, when I was a kid, probably someone already made some kind of music like this. So I loved then and love it now. Thanks for feeding our dreams and sensations and love to all the other people like us in the rest of the world, from Florence, Tuscany.
I read this in Tony Soprano's voice
@@breeeegs
really? Does it fit?😄
@@littlebritain64 Kind of
Is it true the houses are passed down from generation to generation and that there's not one house to rent in all of Tuscany? I can't get a sublet, a guest room, a cot, nothing?
@@jockejocke1 not true, or at least highly exaggerated
Just in time for Resident Evil 4 Remake. Also if you are wondering the first song is the save room theme from Resident Evil 1. Last song is the save room theme from Resident Evil 7.
I don't know video games at all so forgive the ignorance when I ask what a _save room_ is.
I did watch the movie Silent Hill, and was thrilled by its production design and sets and monsters. The whole look of the film was so decrepit and bleak.
@@eduardo_corrochio a "safe" save room like in the Resident Evil video games is a place of safety where no monsters can enter. It also always has a nice ambient music like in this video he posted.
@@IamChloePrice Ah, so it's a place where you can breathe for a moment? Or gather one's thoughts or maybe some strategy ideas. I've seen it typed as "save room" and also "safe room". The latter makes more sense. :)
@@eduardo_corrochio it's a safe room but also a save room where you can save your progress/game ☺️
@@IamChloePrice Thank you!
Imma listen to this on my break in a room after a highly stressful work for muh immersion
let's stress ourselves even more togethet
I just texted this to my son an hour ago, I had the strangest super ominous dream --
I had a horrible dream, the winds outside were super strong and a lot of places had blown away, anything left outside was gone, and I just understood that I was completely alone, everyone I knew was dead, and I was nothing more than a complete stranger to everyone, but all the other people still alive (not many) were also alone, everyone was disinterested in anyone else, I was homeless and all my things were gone. The wind was blowing like it does in a desert (just much much stronger), desolation had happened, and I was still alive.
Isnt it good that dreams are only dreams.
@@spmoran4703 some dreams gives you a warning mate. Dreams are just metaphors often.
Dreams are merely reflections of your reality preparing you for a different one. This is normal human behavior, and strange dreams help simulate real life scenarios. On the off chance the apocalypse does happen within the next 10 years (extremely unlikely), at least you'll be emotionally prepared to live in that scenario, or at least available to autopilot the next objective to survival.
“Death” and “Loss” motifs within dreams often signify new beginnings, or transformation.
A stripping away of the old to make room for the new.
You might be picking up on subtle cues within your life of being inside a transitory period, and this is how your mind is processing the information.
Good luck on your journey.🍀
I had a nightmare too. In my dream my mother died and I woke up in shock. I hope she will be okay I pray for god every day. It made me upset because she is the closest person in my life and I can not imagine my life without her. Maybe I had a dream like this bc she has problems with health...
This is such a genius concept for a playlist...
Respect for everyone who is alone 🙏🏾
Hello to all of them . 👋
@@spmoran4703 hello :/ 👋
@@Kevcx_ How are you ?
Thank you! 🤍🙏🏻
I am alone but do I think I wanna stay alone forever 😮 nevertheless I am divorced and I have my son sleeping with me on weekends 😢 only
I love him so much. The joy of my life 😢
What I'd like to see more of is different pictures for each song. For me it feels like a story is being told with each different song indicating a different chapter.
The "Serenity" one was originally known as "To Burble and Pine" and was composed by David Torn. A lot of horror games (and other games like Monster Hunter) sample it!
Just wanted to drop in and say this has been the background music I use while DMing my horror campaign in D&D since this came out. After searching dozens of playlists and videos, the moment I clicked on this video I instantly knew I had found the very vibe I was having such a hard time pinning down. Thank you for the beautiful, unique playlist and perfect solution!
I literally found this while searching for horror video game ambience music osts while designing my campaign's audio and this is exactly what I needed for my Savage Worlds campaign, too.
I use this for my World of Darkness games. It's very fitting.
I was actually looking into using it for Call of Cthulhu. Lol
How can i accept the fact that your incredible work isn't monitized? It's so unfair, you created a wonderful community for us.
I hope you're not struggling.
Unfortunately this is the case for a lot of music creators on CZcams who also make mixes with songs they don't own, CZcams AdSense flags your channel as "reuploaded content" and you can't get monetized from it ):
Tried it myself last year to see what it would say and I got the same message, which makes sense because I upload Resident Evil music
He didn't actually make the music guys
Even in our darkest places, we can find areas of comfort. take your time in them, to ease your mind. before heading out in the void again.
I'm down to three rounds of 9mm, a half-broken knife and a plant. Hordes of eldritch, shambling horrors lurk as bigger, deadlier beasts are on the prowl for survivors. The puzzle before me is more complex, contrived and bizarre than a drunken rubix cube...
... This is fine. This is just Thursday.
I just went through a week that was practically a horror game, replete with a trip to the emergency room and a faceless corporation acting maliciously. I need a save room right now, and your playlist is it!
I just started working in emergency room. Medicine is so overrun with greed now it's horrible. Wish I never chose the field
@@yowhattupitzbigchungus4971 I'm sorry to hear that. May I ask why you chose to work in medicine? (No judgment, just curiosity. I'm actually a philosopher by education, trying to break into academia.)
Save rooms in horror games are like a nice day off work chilling at home.
These songs make me sad, it's almost like i'm peeking at a dimension that things went even worse
I remember when I was a senior and I had horror game music playing all the time, I had the Re.7 saferoom song playing on loop in the background during the last few days of the year when it was hot and uncannily serene. Always loved horror games’ soundtracks for that
Man I feel safe in here. Just like outside, all the world is a horrible place to be in. This music feels so natural, so understandable, so familiar...
The safety of your own room is precious. Not a lot of people appreciate that.
Save rooms - this comforting and mysterious feeling of the space that is protecting you from the horror that awaits when you open the door
what a brilliant playlist as a commitment to the specialty of a "save room"
For those who have been playing video games for a long time, this is the best feeling you can get.
I listen to these playlists (specifically save room music lately) to sleep. It's too stressful for me to sleep in complete silence or outside white noise and my depression makes that worse, so I'm very grateful for playlists like this. Sleeping really feels like saving before heading back out into the horror game.
Going to sleep in your room is kinda like being in a save room of a horror game (life)
The zombie FBI agents are trying to get in mine...sometimes I wake up to hear them moaning. :(
Life as horror game well put buddy👍🏻
@@ilonaramazanova6940I know you mean it as a joke but I've legit had strange RE-esque nightmares of waking up in a'safe'room just to hear things moving around and making noises outside the door. It's a strange kinda feeling and i just felt like sharing how your comment kinda clicked with me a bit. Oke i'll stop bein weird now
Just kick back and let the music take over. It's like a warm, fuzzy blanket that wraps around you, filling you up with good vibes and chill energy.
the screams stop abruptly as you slam the door of this odd and empty bedroom, all that is there is a foreboding symbol etched into the desk of the room, a desk lamp, and a bed, you look around for any supply's, but come up empty handed, and as you settle in, you finally relax, so much horror, and your finally safe, but a loud slam against the door from something outside, tells you, you arent out of the woods yet..
I needed this. Nothing better than a capcom safe room and a brilliant mix of other pieces that give the same feeling !!
Feels like staying in the save room for a while, getting a break from the chaos of life. Damn, it's hard life.
This is exactly the playlist I needed. I feel like I'm just trying to get through the day right now, so this is kind of a literal safe point. Thanks, Nobody!
Listening to this at work is such a mood. I work in one of those open plan offices with zero privacy. And yet when I put on my earphones and listen to this playlist, I am offered sanctuary from the psychopaths and monsters in the office.
Mount shrine made some of the best dark ambience out there
This is such a specific feeling and I thank you for compiling it
All composers just agreed saving a game represents stepping outside of time into an ethereal place of pondering and reflection.
I listen to your music every single time I write! In just a few weeks, my first full-length novel is releasing. So thanks for being with me from start to finish
What’s it about? I’ve been looking for new books to read 😅
@@mirae_kangjeon it’s called “A Lonely Broadcast” and it’s the first in a trilogy! It’s a folksy Americana horror about an eldritch force haunting a radio station
@@wendingus_ sounds really good! Where can I read it?
@@mirae_kangjeon Thanks! It’s going up on Amazon in May/June 🖤
Congratulations!! 🎊💻📙
You are a true magician, bro. You just create new universes in our minds with every video
Thank you!
This playlist is perfect. The save rooms always bring such a moment of peace.
For some reason i ever loved small essential spaces, like hotel rooms.
Your daughter disappeared and finding her became your obsession. You left your wife, your job, your country. Now you have this hotel room in London, money for one week, one pistol and one name. The name of a policeman who could know where to look for her. He works at the Crouch End's Police Station.
This is different kind of serene experience.
Thanks for putting RE Remake's Save Room first, I really needed to hear it ❤
This is wonderful.... so creative. Thank you.
I have been sitting in this playlist since it was released. This is perhaps one of my my favorite. Might be the nostalgia from playing resident evil and similar games, but this takes me to that happy place of sitting alone in my room on a bean bag late at night when the rest of the world is asleep, with my Mt dew and bag of Doritos. Before the woes of adult life take bite.
I've been coming back to this playlist a lot too. It helps me sleep sometimes :))
held breeze (mount shrine) - bringing a tear to my eye knowing you know about this track. 💙
Resident Evil has such a special place in my heart
I love this, a small space for peace before going back into the chaos.
Been having some very rough days- this is just what I needed to help with the loneliness, as silly as that sounds. Thank you~
The first song with its simple melody but complex synth noises and the images lighting and shadows with the warm yellow embrace... really leaves a lot to imagination. Yellow is often a color of comfort but here in this picture and context it seems it is for survival too - comfort is just an afterthought!! Great job nobody... I really love this.
Haunting but comforting
I love it
As someone who works home offce, this is exactly what I feel now.
I'm at home: save room
I'm working: horror game
Pairs so so well with liminal space footage
Congrats on passing 500k, well deserved for all the hard work you do! Keep em coming.
Brilliant! If we could get a Gothic Horror playlist, that would be amazing. I love Gothic horror *leans back and starts romanticizing about Vampyres, castles, and bleak Victorian settings* Nonetheless, your playlists are always so intriguing. Thank you for this!
Check out the Band "The Vision Bleak". Their first album is the kind of style you might like.

you fill me with so much hatred at the sheer audacity you have to be this corny
Amazing idea to mix all these together. So many warm and nostalgic memories
This Playlist is the Very Definition of Perfect Sound - Safety, Comfort, Protection, Hiding. Away From the imminent Dangers and ferocities that wait outside the Save room, Out Into the Uncertain. Held Breeze [Mount Shrine] Is my Favorite of them all. [The save Room] The place where you save all your data so your previous play through does not get Lost. Your Third person you click [X] then save all data. Sighs of relief.
I hope you reach a million subs this year
absolutely love this - i use this to write to often or just as calming music from the horrors of reality
The safest place you can be. This truly works as intended, make you calm in stressful situations. I'll listen while I work.
The dark souls main menu theme would be fken brilliant in here. Stellar mix as always mate
Never give up nobody, these playlists scratch such a niche itch for me, I cannot stop coming back looking for more. These kinds of playlists along with anything liminal you put together are like the most potent addictive substance to me.
This calms me down better than any other lo-fi mix. Thank you!
It only feels right to listen to this in the break room at work tbh.
bless u man. this helps me a lot while studying. your job is amazing and this channel overall underrated
this is the one i’ve been waiting for.
I understand this was months ago, but a horror game playing for the snowy winter would be cool. It's been snowing a lot recently and I always think of horror games when it does.
this is such a specific vibe I didn't know I wanted more of. hell yeah.
It's the most beautiful playlist for me and so much thank you for this playlist. I would love to play it when the rain came.
Nobody, you have the BEST playlists. Seriously, I’m so glad I stumbled on your channel.
when i read the title to this i thought, immediately, of the resident evil haven theme and was not disappointed that it was the very first track. i'd linger in the save room for way longer than i had to just to listen to this track on loop. what a hauntingly perfect track and a great playlist.
This playlist has been so comforting for me. The perfect mix of nostalgia and ambiance was in the horror games I grew up playing
This is a great playlist! just added it to my coveted Ambient playlist of what to listen to in the background when studying or working late at night.
This playlist includes Mount Shrine, a personal favorite of mine. great work from an impeccable artist...RIP Cesar.
big points to you. I am now subscribed to your channel.
This is the playlist I didn't know I needed! Thanks for these pieces that capture such a unique familiar feeling of relief.
Incredible curation as always, although I would have added Back Hall by Mikko Tarmia too. :D
This is so creative thanks, your playlists make my life better

Gorgeous playlist! Love the inclusion of Survival Spheres, I adore their music so much 💗
Nice to meet you here, too, my friend!
lately I been into indie horror games, watched a few and tried to play some too and something I noticed is that many of them considering they are horror how atmospheric and calm the can also be
Amazing! One of your best yet. 😎🔥🙌
Just the best music playlists channel on the site.
This is super amazing! Love it. Thank you Nobody
I was looking for info about the next resident evil game, and ended up here lol. What a pleasant surprise, I love music, and your name is awesome.

What a creative concept for a playlist
Ahh the Nostalgia! What a great idea for a playlist
A moment of respite from the madness.
