In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Ain't nothing wrong with any person working their 'can" off to make ends meet and Mike you do work hard. With all the waste in today's world you are doing us all a service and entertaining us in the process. Keep diving and have fun doing it.

That hippie has leveled up physically, revealed this summer when he went back to tee shirts from the Canadian winter kit.

The 3" tow strap in the dumpster would actually makes for a good chew toy for dogs that chew through everything. It's the only thing my friends dog couldn't destroy and he loves chopping on it for hours.
Oodles and oodles of wire noodles. That open top was a workout.

The toolboxes with the partitions are good. The partitions can easily be cut out and you have a serviceable box for storage.

That little tip to use the dumpster itself to bend pipe comes directly from Vid Vulture! He is a good guy. Man Mike, by the end of your route you are visibly exhausted. But you do you…hopefully you are able to save the profits from scrapping to finally build that spaceship you want!

Hello Mike that 4 conductor wire you found is from an x-ray machine.
If you notice it is flexible. I always keep a Geiger counter to be sure no residual effect to worry about. Those are colour laser printers.
There is a large circuit board that has memory on it.

Hey mike can I make a suggestion, put some hooks on some of your small garage cans hang them on the side of boards to put wire and stuff in and that way their already sorted!!!

Another way to bend those puppies is too put it under the back of your truck and bend up. I have done that when there are no dumpsters around.

Mike I saw the CZcams video where someone was taking those cases that you discarded and cutting them I believe with a drabble and it took out the profile of the tool and you could use it as a carrying case for stuff as the profile would come out of the case and leave it like a suitcase type of thing. You could put all sorts of things in it

What do you do with the little box's on the end of power cords. Like the little transformer. Do you cut them off and scrap them separately from the cords?
