seems somehow that the angle has worked lol. everyone hates sammy now and hes getting toxic boos, but hes a heel now and rejoined jericho, who can probably help him get over again if they ever turn back face, but even if not he can work his heel role well. Meanwhile we know the ethan paige, scorpio sky split is coming, and we can see scorpio will probably be the face, and ethan with his promos against tai and sammy has really gotten over for me in a way he didnt before the feud. Hope like u he gets a massive push soon, maybe page vs sky at all out.
if sky survives wardlow that is, which he probably wont, but after losing the title, ethan could turn on him. Works both ways.

AEW tends to have almost every match be fairly equal, so I don't think it's a good indication of anyone getting a push.

Miro aka Tong Po advancing to the finals is a MUST. I do love me some PAC but I think it should be Miro. In any case I expect an awesome match. I can really see Pac taking the GAme OVer well, it will be a good shot, will look painfull and believable and he will be a fine semi-boss opponent if Miro is to be the inagural champ. Vice versa will also be true doe...I'm just personaly biased towards Miro so I hope he wins.

I'm happy Miro is back and of all the heel champions they've had in AEW (with Miro being a former TNT Champion) Miro was my favorite because he is a brutal one man force, he wasn't a chicken heel and he never needed a stooge or a lackey to win his matches unlike the other heel champions!

I understand the concept of the title, despite that I personally don't think it was really needed but hopefully this title will be something special and not just a waste of time, maybe it could have a ranking system based on points?! And hopefully the Women's division will have a similar title in a near future! The title could have a better and unique design, and it could be a multiple company title and not a title related to one company! The tournament itself could be more well balanced between AEW and NJPW, with a final match at the ppv between a wrestler from each company! This match was fantastic with good details (🙏)! These two top athletes who should be next contenders for the AEW World title and TNT title, delivered a great performance! Hopefully in the end PAC will be the inagural champion, if not, hopefully he will be one of next AEW World champions, he deserves to be the face of the company!

@@herzfeldji The same question can be done about the Men's division! Another single title for the Women's division make sense when there is a lot of wrestlers like Emi Sakura, Abadon, AQA, Riho, Diamanté, Ruby Soho, Jamie Hayter, among others, who could benefit from this title, and supposedly with more wrestlers that can and hopefully will be sign by AEW! And a similar title with same the purpose could connect with wrestlers from other companies! This is just my opinion but it feels a right choice to make, it will be fair, and it could be a guideline to create feuds and stories, and a goal for many wrestlers who had been away from the TV and spotlight!

@@herzfeldji They have a lot of great wrestlers to create great teams and they can and should sign more wrestlers, they are out there, plenty of talented athletes! AEW doesn't have excuses to not do what it needs to be done, they just need focus on the task to make it happen!
In my personal opinion, AEW just need to create a Trios title for the Women's division, it can be something very exciting, different from any other company around the world, and over other reasons, they deserve it it! Along with this team title, a similar title like the All-Atlantic that could be better if it was renamed AEW International championship, a total of 8 titles, 4 for each division it seems enough, perfect and awesome! And maybe the Diamond Ring could be part of the Women's division, while the FTW title should stay on the Men's division!

Gonna be honest it’s obvious, they didn’t exactly bring out the heavy hitters for their qualifies. You have Ishii, a guy whose been seen as nothing but a junior tag wrestler for the last five years, a jobber whose had two singles matches in the last three years and a guy who probably isn’t even known by njpw faithful as he’s only had a handful of matches in Japan.
The redeemer will reign supreme. This is the stepping stone title.. after this, if the run was successful. The world title should be next
