    I'm a stone mason of 17 years and the amount of fools that ask for a marble bench top is astounding. after they insist it's what they want it's normally damaged within the first week of use. oh well more business i guess haha

    I purches two living room end beutiful tables. It was sold to me as Marble. A family member of mine told me they were Granite.Watching this video I have learned that they are Granite..But it's ok I still love trhem .They are Beautiful..Thank you for the clarification.

    Very informative. Except you can absolutely restore a marble to a gorgeous shine and polish and granite is not porous as you described it at the end.

    I've had different granite trim in my home (kitchen and stairways) in the last 25 years and I can say granite IS NOT acid resistant....it's very sensible to all liquids(water too) ,it's better dry up all surfaces to avoid stains

      I heard that granite is heat resistant but don't quote me though, not everything they say on youtube is true. It's good to do more research and maybe ask one of the experts. Also, a second opinion will not hurt.
