When Autobots use Decepticon weapons. If you haven't noticed by now I watch these live action Transformers Movies religiously. I know them like the back of my hand. But that doesn't mean I don't discover new things when I go back and rewatch them. Something that I noticed throughout the years is that the Autobots tend to share some of their artillery with other characters. 1 of the first instances would have to be when Bumblebee was since with an arm mounted Pincer Claw in TF4 which looks an awful lot like the 1 we saw Megatron use in TF2. We see Optimus Prime using a Quad Barrel shotgun in TF5 which looks exactly like the 1 Hound used in TF4 exept the color matches his paint job. He continues borrowing weapons in the newer films when seen using a blaster that looks very similar to Dropkick's Scatter Cannon from Transformers Bumblebee. Talk about showing your enemy how to put their own weapon to good use!

No he didn’t, he used the dotm shotgun. It’s a common misconception because the evasion mode toy gun was compatible with dotm Megatron.

Yeah, resistance fighters don’t usually have the budget to buy their own weapons. Much more convenient to take it from the enemy.

@Zodiac3107 Hey man I like these films for sure. I grew up watching them. I view these films in a positive light but it can't be denied that they took certain liberties in the creation of these movies. Rehashing models is definitely something they did.
@@directvirus3091 Yeah! I don't think this is one of those examples though. Not everything revolves around budget. The majority of the Autobots are Chevy and GM motor vehicles. Which were mostly handed to Bay for free. I understand copying a whole model, but just a gun? To save what cost? There could be numerous reasons as to why certain weapons are seen throughout multiple movies, my peeve is that people immediately say "budget" without any idea whether or not that's actually the case.
Gives the same feel as in War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, when you can pick up weapons and the transformers are just meshing them with their hands in their own colors.
These movies are my childhood
I'm just glad BB re-introduced Transformers weapons coming from their bodies. I always found that to be more interesting than them just carrying a weapons around on their person.

I think it's more they all use cybertron weapons rather than eachothers, it's like two people in a sword fight, they aren't using the enemy's weapon, it's just a sword which anyone uses

And To have a weapon Fitted into your arm, it kind of has to be customized. But the auto bots have stuck on earth so they use whatever they can

Well TF3 makes it clear that he’s actually saying “BROTHER!”, Sentinel also says this when he transforms after being damaged

In dark of the moon it’s a small detail but as Sam is walking inside of the nest base, you can see him greet itonhide and ratchet.
I just watched it yesterday and I noticed that as well. It’s a small detail that shows that Sam also has a strong bond with Ratchet and Ironhide.

Let's just remember. The WFOC and FOC games made it pretty clear these were more or less standards of weaponry among cybertronians.
Bumblebee's TF4 cannon was the best, he looked so menacing with it, because he could use it at distance and in close quarters combat, he destroyed one of lockdown's pets by stabing it with the spikes on the canon and in the final fight he tried to attack lockdown directly, but he grabbed him and threw him away

U could make an excuse that Bee used demolisher’s(Brawn’s) shoulder missile concept in tf1, or the most clear one that prime used the flight tech like he used the parts from Jetfire

Firstly, Love your vids. You actually do the research and cite your sources. Secondly, aside from the reality that the studio just keep reusing old assets to save money, my head cannon is that whenever the Autobots defeat a decepticon they confiscate their weapons.
Rotb primes blaster only looks similar but is in fact entirely different same goes for bee and prime aside from that those are fairly common weapons for cybertronians
Especially when Optimus Prime said "GIVE ME YOUR FACE " and continues to rip of his face with the fallen a own staff
He used the Fallen's Gravity Stick too.

That pincher claw is supposed to be Megatron's riot cannon, an iconic weapon favored by Megatron for its power, and the fact that it's literally a cannon on his arm.
From comics we know they also use enemies' parts to repair themselves after taking damages in battles.
On one argument, the Bay films in the making tries to lean more alien based on insects, especially with the Decepticons. On the other, well trained soldiers would have know how to use as many weapons in any battle.
Megatron's Fusion Cannon Claw is literally the perfect weapon, it's just a melee weapon and a range weapon combine, which we all know are a soldier's best friend. You will never have to fear running out of ammo again, BECAUSE YOU CAN USE YOUR GUN AS A SWORD!
Makes sense: in real life we have AKs and M-16s switching hands, so dies Cybertronian weapons. Plus, on the Cybertron games, you can equip any character with any weapon.
The pincer canon is honestly one of my favorite weapon on a transformer looks wise

Fun fact during the final battle in transformers 1 bumblebee lost his legs and after the final battle ratchet used Megatrons parts to repair bumblebee's legs, so probably the reason bumblebee has Megatron's weapon is because ratchet used Megatron's parts to repair bumblebee
I mean, from a game lore perspective bots can have similar weapons to each other. And if you think about handheld weapons, its possible those need to be manufactured separately. Like how Ratchet and Ironhide have the same weapons in G1.

What I found funny in the transformers rise of the beast Optimus never even used his gun at all
Playing some of the games they all use the same since they all hail from cybertron and many either pick up weapons from the dead and incorporate it on to them like interchangeable parts however some I looked into are specifically unique to the characters in which the kept in the movie and aren’t changed out
If you think about it its not that odd because they are from the same planet. So they would think the same when it comes to weaponry.
Like two different groups that live next to each other. Their buildings look similar an so on.

Yep fact btw in tf1 ratchet actually use megatron left arm and leg to fix the damage from starscream attack which is the cause why bumblebee had lost hist legs in tf1.

Lemme take you to a legendary game series,transformers war for cybertron and fall of cybertron,in the teletran system(the armory)both autobots and decepticons can choose the same weapons,another thing is the decepticons are the government/military class,hence there brutality and fighting,but just like we can own m4s like the army,same thing on cybertron
Bumblebee in AOE was probably the Coolest looking Design like his Camaro was more yellow but in his robot mode he is more black I love all of Bee’s designs but I truly think AOE was the coolest design despite the movie not being good
