India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja congratulated R. Ashwin’s on his 100 Tests-500 wickets double with a special congratulatory message on Saturday, offering a Rajnikath reference to their iconic partnership in Tests for India
“Hi Ash Anna, congratulations on your 100th Test match and 500 Test wickets. I am very, very happy for you, and your contribution to Indian cricket has been amazing. You can continue taking a lot of wickets and sharing your mastermind with me so that I can also take a few wickets and become a great legend like you,” Jadeja said in the video from a Chennai Super Kings training session.
“And we also share the same name as well. I am Ravi Indran and you’re Ravi Chandran. Meesha vachavan Indran, meesha vaykathavan Chandran (The one with the moustache Indran and the one without the moustache, Chandran),” Jadeja said referring to Rajnikanth’s iconic double role in the 1981 hit flick ‘Thillu Mullu’, a remake of a 1979 Bollywood movie Gol Maal.

as they say bowlers hunt in pairs be it pacers or spinners- both ravi's have been that pair which hunted the opposition batters relentlessly and mercilessly without giving them any breathing space- if ravi ashwin does not get you then ravi jadeja will get you and vice versa we have been seeing their magic for over a decade now- but who is going to take over their baton and continue their legacy? we should definitely have some propping up soon but we would like to see those new bees to learn from this two on field before they hang up their boots.
Every one was concerned about the next dravid, sachin but no one was worried about where is the next Kumble or Zak? this is very unfortunate and we should soon find if not on par but atleast close to these two giants and servants of the game and the nation .

Its wonderful to hear about ashwin from rahul Dravid, rohit sharma, shastri and all of them ashwin rate very highly,
But don't understand one thing what happens to ashwin when we play in overseas conditions and why they dont include him in the playing 11, ashwin should have been a automatic choice in playing irrespective of the conditions and pitches that doesn't mean jadeja should be dropped from the playing 11.
Ashwin and jadeja both are quality cricketers and both should be part of India' s test playing 11 irrespective of the conditions.
