I believe Babar is not captaincy material, but he should still continue, so that after tenure there would not be any excuses left, he would have got an opportunity to captain an ICC tournament at home, what else anyone will want, end of all excuses. In the meantime, PCB can work on grooming or observing other options, if that option is not even in the squad (I know surprising but happens with PCB), include him in squad. In atleast home bilaterals, have Babar rest atleast one game and give stand-in captaincy to the guy you see as future option.

One must accept that Babar devoid of Leadership Quality. One can own the Captainship but Captainship can't own a Player if traits of a Captain missing in one. Winning a match, a series or even a tournament doesn't announces someone has arrived as a Captain, one must born with leadership quality for that.
