"it's shark season" 😂 always a tough time of year as you want to get out but the cost could be really high (to your gear or body).

Just love the landscape up in the arctic! And am really stoked to get back on skis aswell...
Jaakko, great work with the shots! Love how you captured a variety of styles of shots (story telling with e.g. portraits when explaining things, closer shots when putting on crampons etc. and wider shots with landscape like 12:06 or minimalistic shots with the fog in the background 14:25). Thinking back to the snowboard movies i used to watch nearly religiously (mid 2000s to mid 2010s, Absinthe Films, Burton or Nitro Team Movies etc.), it often ended up being the same style of shot for 30 min straight (there might be a bias due to the style of shots i think of immediately talking about it).
@mpkarlin, like that slower paced style - opens up the focus more and gives a broader few on the story of the episode. Really enjoying this style!
Regarding changing approach to projects or moving in the mountains in general, it would be interesting to hear you talk about it some more maybe also with other people in the freeride / touring realm. Thinking of e.g. Jacob Wester, Nikolai Schirmer (i guess you guys' paths might cross easily during the season), Xav DeLeRue, Sam Anthamatten or Cody Townsend who also mentions this alot in his videos (i guess early season might be the time where he might still have time for a chat).
I feel like such talks between people who actually are doing it always go deeper on the topics than any random podcast...

I better understand now, you are one year forward with respect to your videos (I was a bit confused). you had to choose between publishing them during summer (when people are sad without snow ), or one year later when everybody go to the mountain again.
If you knew God you would seek Him more than you seek for fresh tracks...imagine that.
