We have used black cardboard. If you don't get it, you can paste black tinted paper on the cardboard.

0.5 mm strip is of cardboard and 5, 6 cm gray strip is of box board. If you can't find box board, you can use cardboard and stick gray paper on it.

Any cardboard will work. But the size of the cardboard is small then the no. of cardboard will increase and if the size of cardboard is large then the quantity will decrease. And if you use good quality cardboard then it's best.
