how does Manufacutor determine that the64mm mig29 needed full turning elevators but this new f15 only needed conventional elevators?

Hi Rich,
Nice looking jet and some great flying. The F-15 is my favorite jet, next to the F-86. I have a 90's 1/10 scale Model Merchant ducted fan kit of the F-15 by Duane Johnson. It was to be powered with two 7.5cc engines driving the Jet Pump fan unit. It has a 48" wingspan and 72" length and expected AUW about 13 lbs. Thinking of powering it with two JP Hobby 105mm units with one running CW. I have someone in mind to build it for me. No more room here for building with two sisters moving back after my father passed away. You, Amy, and the kids stay safe.

Looks really nice, but flight time was less than 3 minutes (if I calculated from the video correctly) on 4000mah pack, I thought it would get 4 minutes for sure. Great flying thought and love all the details you provide! Thanks!

It does lift off rather easily with flaps deployed. George always had to look out for the trees. Rich you've got a serious bird strike waiting to happen(I hope not)!! Great F-15 and a great flight!! AirHammer out!!

Gidday from Downunder Rich. Really appreciate the way you accept that no model is perfect 'and this is how we fix the things that need to be fixed'. How does this bird compare with its stablemate the MiG-29? Which has better top end speed, better high alpha capability and which is more suitable for grass field ops (assuming you do the gear mod you recommend for the MiG)?

2:45 on a 4000?!?
Not doing economy flights usually so hard to give “optimum time with max throttle control” as usually spend time showing the performance envelope. You could probably get much longer with proper throttle management🙂

All the shaky zoom in zoom out, it's hard to actually see the plane fly. No stationary reference points.
