I never expected to get a ride on one of these on the 321! It was also very nice to have it in my hometown "Watford" because one of these hasnt been seen here since the time GN04 UDS was on the route 500 😅
Luton clearly trust these GN04s not to break down often unlike the W-XKX. Plus they can also actually hit 50mph! To be fair a number of the GN04 are good, it’s just 6403 was on one of the worst when Aylesbury got it from Gillingham
@ChilternTransportProductions I remember how bad 6403 was when it joined Aylesbury but towards the end of its life there, it did improve. However when it went to Luton they fixed it up well and now its unfortunately withdrawn. At least two remain though, 6449 here like u said did indeed reach about 50mph on the A405 but didn't film because either got busy and 6448 is also good but I personally prefer 449 because 448 has some wierd air leaking noise that is rather annoying. I do with the W reg tridents were still around to see at least 1 appreance on the 321 but I guess it's to late unfortunately
Really nice video, I’m honestly shocked at how good this bus is considering it’s age, I tried it on 721 after with a much faster driver, I do hope this one does 321/721 again soon UFU never seems to tho lol. was rly surprised seeing you when I got on at Watford junction lmao 😂
@Noxxonn unfortunately I didn't see you, I don't even know what u look like 😆 was amazing to vat h this tho and I'm glad u got it too! As for UFU I hope it does the 321 so I can get it but I'm not so fussed because UFV is so much better
@@GlowaxyI was the black kid that was at the front upstairs lmao idk if u noticed me 😭. But I was told UFU is really unreliable not to sure on that tho it hasent been out for a week so hopefully at some point it occurs on the route as when deckers were first being trialed it did it once.
Probably funny seeing this randomly turn up on the 321 lol. Kinda wish they put 5425 on the 757 randomly again before it was withdrawn like they did in September last year at 3:30am lmao (according to ticketer tracking)
I think there's still time so don't worry, until more double deckers come to us - which we are short on one atm - then we know it will be going. Definitely recommend you do get a run on it though!
