@TheTravelCentric the beauty of Capri, the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, how quiet it was at the top of Vesuvius, pompeii, to see the grooves in the streets where the chariot wheels had been. the precarious nature of the buildings clinging to the hillsides along the amalfi drive.

Capri is a beautiful dream, I grew up there in the early 50's and my daily commute to school up in the Piazzetta from Marina Piccola was Krupps walk. I learned to tell time on the big clock there and the black market currency trader who operated out of a basket shop, keeping all the different currencies up in baskets by the ceiling is now a bank. I have dear family members buried there.
That's an authentic experience!!! Very nice! 💕

Sono napoletana ma per motivi di lavoro purtroppo vivo in una città del nord. Napoli, la costiera, Capri... sono sempre nel mio cuore 💓, e appena posso ci ritorno. Un giorno mentre ero a Capri ho sentito una signora straniera che ha detto:" Dopo questo c'è solo il Paradiso". È vero, Capri non ha luoghi che si possano eguagliare in nessun posto del mondo.
