    I was there that day. I was a member of the South African Navy Band. What a day!! What an experience!! The celebrations afterwards went long into the night. A time of such hope and optimism.

    Never will there be anyone like this. When he said that he was not a saint, please don't believe him, he was one. He was just saying that to encourage people who look up to him not to give up if they failed to follow in his footsteps because there'll never be anyone like him. He was basically saying "If you look up to me, you are going to make a lot of mistakes, but do not give up because you will never be like me, and no one ever will, and there is no shame in that".

    That's the main reason why Philippines and South Africa are truly Best Friends Forever for the same mindset of optimism and unity.

      I'm not too sure, but it's a praise song - I think they are singing his name in praise. It's a common celebration in South Africa to sing and dance - not only for protesting, but as a means of a unified voice.
      That is why you will see people "dancing" at violent protests, because it's a form of community and expression.
