Loses on 3.5x stats so Jay lowers him to 3x. Makes sense
He thought he won the 3.5x
Cause control is easier than hybrid or payload for the t500 player so he lowered it otherwise he would have rolled on 4x
JQ had a single death through the entire 3.5 match and under slightly different circumstances he would’ve won that, why would u bring him to 4
@@frayziedaisy he didn’t destroy, it was close game and because there were 10 of them they could keep stalling the payload, until they made the C9 play. I’m just saying 3.5 seemed perfect. And the next game kind of showed that imo
@@justjay7093 I’m not saying bring him up I’m saying leave him at 3.5 for the second game. He might have won the and then game 3 would’ve been 3.25 most likely. I just don’t think lowering him after the loss was the move

Emongg lost and Jay thought that was the time to lower his stats
The amount of cc they ended up using to hold him down is insane. Sigma Orisa Mei Symmetra and Ana, literally half their team basically mummified JQ when they managed to pile on him. The game doesn't even become about killing each other, JQ is 1 tapping them and they're just trying to move him slightly off point.

The only problem Jay seems to have with stats is with JQ and reaper. Them having double the healing + double the damage double dips on the self heal portion
10 damage as bleed comes to 20 damage so already gonna get 20 and 40 when double healing. Might wanna see that for those 2 specific characters and no one else. I know this doesnt account for the jq 2x healing on amount of bleed dealt but now you see the issue
if the stats are 3 times, its gonna be 15 times 3 times 3 = 135healing per melee
Pretty sure it’s worse than that because damage dealt and healing received are BOTH doubled. If it were just damage dealt, your idea of 10 heals 20 so 20 heals 40 is true. But because healing is multiplied separately, it’s not 20 makes 40, it should be 20 makes 80!

JQ gets to double-dip with her healing, since it’s based on her damage. She’s taking what you give her and running with it.

@@mythmage8231 then nerf them? The whole point of this series is to find stats that would give an interesting fight. We know 0.5x stats means they would get rolled, but anything above 2x stats theyd probably roll, meaning theres a sweet spot in between

It was fun how you could see the Bronze players getting better at timing their CC in real time. Maybe unironically good practice.
For JQ on the first half, I thought that the bronzes had a really good shot of winning easily if they tried to do a containment strategy using the orisa as a shield, maybe rein to charge the JQ back into a zone, Junkrat traps to lock her into a position and to zone out certain routes when ulting. Using CC, if they could just hold her near their own spawn, they couldve had a tracer free push all the way with little difficulty

The junker queen ult change is actually a nerf in this specific instance. I play custom games when I'm bored and basically just do this series but against bots and have done since 2018 (if this series has taught me anything it's that I'm either better than some top 500 players or bronze players are better than aimbot difficulty bots)
Because junker queen gets ult charge from her heal, you can get to low hp and ult through a group to maximise ult efficiency. In my custom games this would often mean having an ult at the start of an engagement that would then teamwipe and give you another ult for the start of the next.
But because of the change to junker queen's ult, you run the risk of outright killing people with the initial damage, not setting off bleed, and not getting any ult charge from the heal over time. In fact you can see this happen at 1:32
That change, despite being somewhat of a buff in the live game is a massive nerf in custom games.
The fact is that if all his stats are multiplied by 3, his self-healing is actually multiplied by 9 :
-3 times the dmg means 3 times the heal (which is proportional to normal)
-3 times healing is 3*3=9 times the regular healing, which is 3 times superior to normal (even proportionally)
And this was the same for reaper, which is why he was boosted !
you might wanna rethink the healing received stats with heroes that have some kind of lifesteal like moira reaper or queen, because if they deal 2x the dmg, their self heal will also be doubled, and if they also have 2x the healing received it'll mutliply and they get 4 times the healing which is super broken
it might be easier to give the stat buffs first and then nerf the healing received separately. No idea if the workshop can code that properly to not nerf something like jq shout though
Gotta say, Emongg is insanely good at these. I know JQ is really strong right now, but still, the guy is a menace

I believe usually when he’s spinning it’s at points where he could be surrounded and he’s using the third person animation of her ult for a quick OP vision check

The healing is actually 9x the original healing, because the damages and healing multiplier both stack.

Honestly some of the best bronze players we have seen
They really found a strat of just keeping JQ off objective to win after brute force didnt work with damage and debuff stacking and using turrets to reduce aggro.

Fun vid, even though Jay screwed up the 2nd one. Should have been same stats just a different map. Emon got a lot of kills, but the bronze still managed to win.
What if Jay did like a guess the smurf on two teams but they did mystery heroes and the smurfs would have to win on random heroes and we could guess the person. I feel like that might be fun

The bronzes should really look for ult combos to use on him, like grav then blizzard and maybe even barrage or something while shes frozen to for sure secure the kill
Also the ana swap was really good cause of the lifesteal getting blocked for 4 seconds by anti
