Recently drove this stretch for an anniversary w my wife in September. I was in awe of the whole drive. I'm from Phoenix AZ and this was an amazing drive both ways.
Dude you are high lol I was born and raised in Portland and lived all over Washington and it’s definitely not even close to the “prettiest” places in the US....not even close...Alaska (where I live now) is 1000x prettier...Montana is prettier...western Wyoming is prettier....Northern California is prettier...

Did this drive in the summer from denver to aspen then took the independence pass back to denver on the way back. What a feast on the eyes scenic drive both ways. Hoping to do it in the winter soon. Awesome video
When I was a child we lived outside of Denver and. went to Glenwood springs often to visit my grandparents. Beautiful country, and special memories. The music for this video is also very beautiful.

If i'd be in your country I would drive till my tires wear out and my wallet empty of buying gasoline. Here in my country the road is so bad we hardly ever hear the sound of tyre grinding against asphalt road all we hear is the sound of the vehicle body bumping on the road.
Going to aspen this winter. This just makes me more excited than ever. Looking forward to the drive from Denver to aspen. Glad I didn’t just buy direct to Aspen

Sophie Samuel hello! I was making the video, so I’m not sure what highway it was, but I can see that somebody posted in comments a possible answer for you. Our destination was Aspen. And we chose hotel “Aspen”. But you always can pay more for more stars, but it’s not about where to stay and it’s about experience walking around and enjoying the view around you. Hotel Aspen was cozy, clean and good food :). That trip was my birthday trip, I will remember it forever.

Cole Vien it was in January. We didn’t use any chains but I wish we had those, and no “summer” tires definitely... during the day ice melts all good, but then, at the evening when sun is down, it gets very slippery..
