Why did the Catholic Church in the UK and the Ushaw College Board of Trustees not expand the seminary into the combination of a college and seminary ..... i.e., expand the academic program with the liberal arts and sciences, along with the seminary program? Several Catholic seminaries here in the US did this, as their vocation student enrollment decreased and now they are thriving with students and seminarians. It is such a shame that Ushaw College ended in 2011 and its great history as an academic institution died!

Ushaw died.The new Ushaw building will probably become an Islamic place soon.
