Today we check out the new Brotato update, which seems to be a compensation for the delay of the DLC - so I assume the new characters originally belonged to the DLC, meaning we get a nice spoiler of what's to come. We start off with Baby, a character that starts with only 1 weapon but can accumulate up to 24 weapon slots, each level unlocking one more. However, each level up also requires 2.5x the normal amount of XP and Baby doesn't get any level up stat bonuses.

24 slots?! I'm gonna fill it up with Ghost Ax. I did that with Multitasker and it was one of the most hilarious gaming I've done.

The problem is that it tracks per axe, so on average you'll have tier 1 or 2 weapons meaning you'll have to kill 16-20 enemies per weapon to get the bonus. More weapons = less bonus.
@DontWorryBeCurry yes but it's alot easier to upgrade tiers if you have excessive slots so I run ghost axe, flint and staff on multitasker and stopped playing at round 50 since you only sell crate items except for padding and tartigrades switch to potato launchers for infinite damage and health
@@DontWorryBeCurry For sure. But it’s still a free stat and with that many weapons any free stat on a character that doesn’t get them from level ups is pretty valuable. I’ve run ghost weapons on multitasker and gone insanely deep into endless. It’s slower to build the points, but you also have to consider that each point is more valuable because you’re ultimately applying that bonus to 24 weapons. Kind of like how getting % damage on renegade is still really valuable despite the % damage penalty because of the extra projectiles.

yeah 24 weapons is wild but the early game is so incredibly painful

I get that, but I think the goals are just different. I knew I'll die any moment and not due to a lack of damage. Everything got demolished. I wanted to achieve 24 red sticks or find Tardigrades.
400 material is more than half of what I earn in a wave for a bonus that makes me ~12% stronger

I, myself, started with thief dagger and took on a couple of different primitive weapons (didn't have any luck with sticks unfortunately, through a couple of attempts) and then I started to lean into the elemental stuff because I was curious, so ended up with a very mixed bag of weapons and got to wave 50 (I think). 😅
It's very fun though and can't wait to see you do the other new characters!

24 Slots mean you can use 4 different weapons and get 4 different bonuses, if the weapons have multiple bonuses, then you have even more than 4 bonuses
Funnily enough I did exactly the same on my first run in the update! They patched Stick in as weapon selection just as you released this video by the way, haha.
full engineering with 24 wrenches, the tree spawn turrets and the additional 20% engi scaling from nail
Or an elemental build, that converts ele into engi and the tree thing to spawn turrets and engi scaling for weapons... double dipping
P.S. what about the Mother i like to farm comment and the earlier comment where you said "i know how to handle mothers..." you all good?

Twenty four weapon slots on Baby, and then Spider giving +6% attack speed for each DIFFERENT weapon? +144% faster! You could have a Swiss Army Knife chainsaw!
Weapons with long Cooldown could work well. The idea is that you have 23 other weapons to fire, while it is on Cooldown.
New item unlocked. Celery Tea. +5% XP each wave. enemies +100% health next wave

I did it with the ghost axe/shard, and spiked shield for the armor. Was pretty strong.
Alien tongue got modified and now have +1 knockback and you missed it saying you needed knockback lmao ( on the beta at least )
I feel like the choice between level up selection or additional weapon with the 2.5x slower experience would at least give you the option when you don’t have sticks.

bro running into bullets and saying "dodge" xDDD - also, icicle kinda kicks ass in my limited experience with the update so far. Fireball is really nice, too.
actually for the first elite the ring in phaseb 2 is slightly larger
I feel like a fair balance for the baby would be to make it every 5 levels (number could be adjusted for balance) that they get a choice for stat upgrade or alternatively, when they level up they get half the number of options to choose from.
Dex slowly losing his mind and regressing to baby
It would be interesting if instead of forcing you to get a weapon slot on level up, the character would have a guaranteed weapon slot choice together with the stats upgrades. This way it would be the player choice to go for an extra weapon or a stat increase.
I feel like they don't have the stick as a starting option for a weapon for the baby because unlike with multitasker where there is a downside of dealing less damage for each weapon meaning the sticks aren't as crazy as they could be. However the baby doesn't have that downside it means the full chaos of the sticks could be unleashed by the baby. Well minus the fact that getting a full selection of 24 red sticks would be insane considering you have to get crazy lucky and harvesting and such will be more rare.

You should try only one of each item on this character. I think that might be interesting.
I think you didn‘t kill the wave 20 bosses fast, because the sticks were in such a big circle around you, that the range was to short and many of them didn‘t even attack. So bumping up the range is necessary to use the full potential of the build.

maybe the palm could be good for the harvesting it gives you
you could probably just take 1 or 2 good weapons and then a bunch of hands, you'd level pretty quick that way
Getting normal lvl up choices and +weapon slot as an additional choice would make the baby More handleable.

I was visiting my cousin after work (army officer) and I don't know why, but somehow the word "milf" fell while talking about life in the military. I believe her husband said something about that (because stereotypes, I guess). Her daughter obviously picked up on that and asked, what "milf" is. The officer I am, I instantly took a deep breath and started to explain: "Now seeee. It is actually called..."
You should have seen my cousin's face XD... Well, I told my great-cousin that, she misunderstood it and it is actually called "milfit" meaning military fitness. And that there is a lot of in the military and all soldiers would love it (lol). Followed by "I can show you" and then I did some made up training routine in their living room...
Not gonna lie, I still laugh about that.

they should allow him to uncap the weapon class levels to benefit more from having a bunch of a few different weapons or a ton of one

this character is fully meant for endless right now. i hope they rebalance that, maybe get an actual level up ever 2 levels along with the extra weapon every level because u dont get really "strong" until after u are full of weapons. i dont see how you could make it without stick either. unless you get super lucky with xp bonuses

Ghost weapons appear good on first view, but probably not, since you're sharing the kills amongst even more weapons. Screwdriver lays mines right? A ton of mines could be fun...
Baby+one armed (the baby gain weapon slot so you started w 1 but 3x at speed)
You should try this character using rocks for HP and Armor scaling.

@EyesOfByes I don't think it will ios is a horrible software for games the developer of the game needs to pay 100 $ a year for support and anouther at least 800$ to upload it überhaupt and you need to work with the ios file type 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮 if you want to play games or "own " your hardware and be able to modify and repair whatever you want GET RID OF ANY IOS DEVICES
