Tip to make it look cuter: Add some eyes, curl the ears with a pencil, and tail if you want, and cut the bottom so it looks like four actual legs

I wanted to see how well I could use construction paper to do origami, and my kitty turned out surprisingly good, especially for the first time doing this. Very helpful tutorial, though the part to make the ears was a little confusing, I figured it out regardless, which to me says it's a good tutorial because I was able to pick back up, even after being confused
I gave up, because everything fell apart, and it got to me. Your comment motivates me not to give up
Making paper cranes helps with knowing how to do the ears. The steps on a paper crane are pretty similar to the ears!

How could you skip at 4:45 before that there are no lines on the body and after all the bubbles come on screen there are lines in the body part. How am I supposed to continue if you skip steps?

i tried doing origami before but it didn't turn out really well so im trying again! maybe this video wasn't what i should be starting with as i had to pause and go back many times and my hands were shaking but i was so happy with the end result, thank you❤️
Yes, you go very fast, when I'm on step 1 you go till 4, please wait for your viewers or go slow, I have to go back for every step even after I pause

My cat sucked, but I added some “me” touches and it ended up looking trashy, and in my world- trashy is awesome

A couple tough moments (that I see were replayed the most by users, and I'm in that group), but I think seeing the final product after those steps helped to make the step itself make sense. My kitty came out with a couple kinks where angles didn't perfectly align, but I'm going to practice some more and add some eyes with paint when i make a black kitty for my and my husband's paper anniversary! (1 year) Thank you!!

I just got done doing a dragon origami that took me like a hour and now my sister wants a cat!
Great video and great tutorial. Everything is very clear. What I loved was when there was a hard fold that might be difficult to understand, you redid the fold a second time to make it easier to see. Great stuff

The fold isn’t to complicated, but I suggest you learn how to make a paper crane first to grasp the basics of origami.
