This episode was flawless, so glad we could experience with you Veggie. You rock man! Seeing how much Blitzø and Stolas care about their daughters made this episode very wholesome. Definitely worth the rewatch! 10/10 for this episode!!

The reason Stolas was fine drinking it is because he's a demon.
It was stated before that the only way you could kill demon royalty was with weapons from heaven so acid would probably be like drinking water to him.
loved this episode, i know some people are annoyed blitz and stolas didn’t fight but- neither are the type to hold onto something when they can just ignore it
I love the background of Hollywood at nighttime. It made me feel reminiscent when I listened to Pearl’s(from SU) ‘It’s over isn’t it?’ Song,due to the warm,pastel colour palette.

Demon saliva probably has some kind of powerful toxin effect in the human world.
In S1E3 Verosica's bottle of alcohol causes fish to mutate after being dropped in the ocean.
And here we see a bottle of normal water being turned into acid after Stolas drank some of it.
The same screaming girl gag from Episode 3 even highlights this pattern.
It was the drink inside the bottle that made the fish mutate, not the bottle itself. And here if you notice when the guys first portal up to LA there's a poster on the wall that ways that AL water is 2% sewage and 98% actual acid.
The water melted that guy because of all the acid.
Btw, Octavia killed the Original Brennon Ragers by falling on him

Azathoth, the blind idiot god that sleeps at the center of all chaos. Of course little known fact Lovecraft ripped this off from Lord Dunsany who had one "Mana Yood" whose dreams created the universe and should they awaken reality would cease to exist *Lovecraft gave this same characteristic to Azathoth*. Not sure if there is an older dreamer, but the concept is on the whole universe/world made from the body of an ancient god or exists only as the mind or will of one. Personally my favorite version of this comes from the anime Slayers with the Lord of Nightmares.
Now that I look at this gain, MAN, I would’ve loved to see/hear loona sing.

Based on the music in the background, my guess is that the fire at the studio is indirectly Stolas' fault.
With him being a Great Demon Prince, just by holding something like a bottle of water, let alone actually drinking from it, he could well have corrupted it to be anathema to the living.
Basically, just his presence could have turned the water into unholy water.
It would explain the same music as the possession scene from S01E06.
