I just like this guy...very genuine. Yes I know he's more intelligent than the personna, yet he uses that to share and bring a moral gently humorous outlook that reaches out to others. He is through and through a Midwesterner and doesn't use his faith to preach, it just enables him to understand others more and put a smile on faces.

I'm a transplant from Philly and it's crazy how "op" grows on a person. It's even more insidious than y'all.
I actually laughed out loud at that the one.
I did that all the time before quarantine because I walk other people's dogs, and it's to avoid well-meaning people trying to pet them.

I have rewatched that clip so many times and laugh just as hard each time. And I too have done that...I'm all up in people's yards getting hit by branches and bushes just to give people their 6 feet (op'ing and squeezin' right past 'em) - LOL.

Some of my greatest memories is my grandmother playing her accordion at night before bed. Also going to a smoke filled church Saturday night in big bend for bingo with my grandparents. The best memories of my life.

We had delicious fish fry from The Packing House 3 weeks in a row...so worth the wait! The best part was the owner walked along the line thanking everyone. So pleased to be able to support our local small businesses. They even sell Brandy Old Fashioned kits! Keep 'er Movin'

Called up the only place doin a carry out/delivery fish fry last Friday. Told me it was a 3 hour wait. Culver's was no help either.
Is this just in Wisconsin? I'm in NC and just got Popeye's with no wait at all. Every food place is open here- for drive through.
Fish fryâs are pretty much Wisconsin. More things about Wisconsin, the summer Catholic Church festivals with live bands and midway rides. They are huge. Some get 50,000 people showing up over the three days. The Wisconsin State Fair is different than other states. In Wisconsin, every place that provides beer has to supply entertainment. So lots of dancing wheeeas other state fairs are less of a party atmosphere.

Christian 78 You might not have them in NC but in the Midwest (Iâm from Missouri) some Catholic Churches during Lent have fundraising Fish Fry Dinners for pick up or dine in. Some run them all year but around here it is the local VFW hall that goes all year with the fish and beer. Fish Frys are a big deal. đ The Catholic Churches serve beer at their Fish Frys while the Protestant churches donât hence the Catholic Churches domination in the popularity department. đThe local Protestant churches instead have monthly Sausage Suppers or Pancake Breakfasts as their fundraisers. Nice division of services that way. đ
warmsunny today itâs a Midwest thing because we have them here in Missouri. Catholic school picnics, Catholic Lent Fish Frys, VFW Fish Frys, Protestant Church Sausage Suppers and/or Pancake Breakfasts are the best. A Midwest thing for sure. In my neck of the woods we donât have a Fish Fry on Good Friday, how about you? Stay safe.

Friday fish fry shortage is NO joke here in the greater Lake Winneconne metro area! If you want fish from the BeeHive call on Thursday. By Friday they're out. Also, Boom Bay is beer battered FYI!Lol! "Woodeyes" is good but tell them to keep the tartar and cole slaw separate from the hot fish. Everyone has their cross to bear during this thing!

Fish fry! I grew up near Milwaukee and now live in Minnesota. Fish fry around here is sacrilege. Usually sunnies, breaded, not beer batter. With fries and baked beans and white bread. And only during lent.
If you are lucky, they might have cheesy hash browns. Iâve been to a few church fish fries around here where the only thing I ate was cheesy hash browns. Fish fries are supposed to involve beer batter, rye bread and potato pancakes!
