Republic Services Cleanup - Lennox/Inglewood

- Annually, the city of Inglewood and the Lennox garbage disposal district hold a free, unlimited bulky item event throughout all the Saturdays in April. Both areas do have regular bulk throughout the week, but they probably limit on the number of items set out and have a fee. Hence, that's why the Republic branded Autocar ACX McNeilus Curotto Can was all that I caught on camera since it was ridiculously light in Lennox. They did run the carry cans that they use in Lawndale, but I already have video of those.
I had to head over to Inglewood where it was heavier and ran eight trucks instead of three. I got some video of an Autocar ACX McNeilus RL as those aren't really recorded from Republic, let alone their cleanups. I also then found an original Consolidated Autocar WXLL McNeilus RL. It is definitely an older model as it runs on diesel rather than LNG.
Big thanks to Aaron for letting me know about the Lennox cleanup. Also a thanks to the helper of the Lennox truck and to the helper of the old truck.

Glad you made it out there! Pretty cool trucks, they were all entertaining. The first RL sure was fun to watch with the fast blade. Definitely an essential component in order for me to stay entertained with an RL. That was cool to see them tip carts. The Curotto was great too, would love to see more of Republic's Curottos whenever possible. And glad you caught the old CDS RL! Really nice looking truck and definitely surprised to some extent that they're still running that oldie. Wish it had tippers on it though. Although with the way it's set up, that would certainly be a cool truck to see in El Segundo, especially on manual recycling.Great job Eric

Those guys at the end should watch some of those Oregon videos where the guys pick up the carts like a boss. These fellas were struggling a bit.
Great video Eric, you’ve really outdone yourself this time. It’s about time we saw the CDS colored RL in action. I’ve seen it on bulk in Inglewood a couple times on weekdays. The packer had a pretty decent speed. Funny that most of the bulk was tree branches and yardwaste. But great video regardless!

Great job Eric! This combo is pretty sweet. I really miss seeing CDS branded trucks. Looks like a lot of people have a lot of yard waste lol. We have bulky pickup every other week.
