Just came here to vent and say I hate QR Code Menus. Ruins the whole dining out experience for me. I will never again intentionally eat at a place that requires a QR Code menu if I can avoid it. If however you still have a paper menu - you've got a new customer in me.

PDF, JPG, PNG and all similar menus are really hard to read and to browse on smartphone! They have a terrible UX. Restaurants should use a digital menu, which is much better for users! BuonMenu for example has nice graphics

How long does this Qr code last ?
The validity of the QR code depends on its type, static or dynamic. Static QR codes are free and they work forever while dynamic QR codes work with an active subscription. Note that dynamic QR codes created with a free trial account will automatically stop working after 500 scans or when your one-year free trial period is up, but you may reactivate them when you sign up to one of our plans.

That's just weird and inconvenient as well. My phone won't even scan a qr code and I'm sure not going to dig in my pocket for a phone to scan a damned menu. Hand me a menu, print it on a marker board, something. Show some respect for your customers. I'll walk out in a heart beat as soon as any restaurant tries messing around with my phone, it's a phone not a menu.

You can download either a PNG or SVG file copy of your QR codes. You can do this by going to the “Track data” page and choosing the category of the QR code you want to download. If you click on either PNG or SVG, your QR code will be automatically on your download folder.
If you haven't created an account but have created a free static QR code, you'll be sent to a page where you can send your QR code through email, but you'll only get a PNG copy.
