The XIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2009 began. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo together with Russian Federation President Dmitry Medvedev talked about the issue on how global economic crisis can be battled and what lessons is learned on how to lead the way forward. Also on the stage are Junichiro Koizumi, former Prime Minister of Japan, Gerhard Schroeder, former Chancellor of Germany and Dr. Robert Mundell, Professor of Economics, Columbian University and Nobel Prize laureate in economic science 1999.
She handled The Philippines well during her time. I just hope that people will see her contributions in the years to come.

omg 10 years na ito pero yung mga sinasabi ni pgma really did happen. and I am so happy that pd30 chose her as her economic adviser. madam pgma we did so much to tarnish your reputation and hurt you a lot but we really did benefit from you a lot it is just a lot of filipinos are trying to be smarty pants and in the end we know really nothing. Eversince I love watching economic forum than news because no media can dice the full length interview lke this. I hope our economy today will become stronger and thanks to your foundation and effort in doing so. Cebu is an example of good business model you make from micro and macro economy, and strong investment from the local and foreign investor.

Very articulate, I always supported her despite the negative publicities during her term. She did really well compared with Hillary Clinton.
