Very interesting, but what is the point of this robot if people are still standing around the fleuroscopy? Isnt the whole point to reduce radiation exposure of the staff?
Not only that part is far from ideal, the lack of proven benefit for the patients is the major limitation of robotic-assisted PCI. Payers won't reimburse, at least for now. Still a long way to go
@@hchen77 Its definitely worse for the patient, but its not fair for the staff to put their health at risk from repeated radiation either, its a sucker’s job at this point
