Is it just me or does dawn inspire everyone to build?
It caused me the opposite. After seeing her gallery, I understood that no matter how hard I try, my builds will always be boring and ugly in comparison, so I better not waste my time.
@@themainman2827 Don't let this discourage you! I used to build the most basic houses in the world but after a lot of practice I'm pretty good at it now! Don't give up!
It’s definitely not just you! Then I get so consumed it takes me a week to finish a build 😂
@@themainman2827 it’s ok! I’m a bad builder but watching speed builds really helped me! I recommend also watching lilsimsie house tutorials they’re easy to follow and helped me a lot :)
it really inspires me SO much, but when I start building, it just does look like everyhting else I have ever build haha. I feel like I get new ideas through her videos, but when I'm sitting and trying, it all just looks the same. there is no improvement hahahah
white windows are definitely classic! I’m personally really fond of dark wood windows, since a lot of older houses where I grew up had them. they were still usually painted white/a light color on the outside though…but we don’t really have that kind of inside/outside style in the sims lol
I think it would be such a cool idea if you made a "Cheaper by the Dozen" or maybe "Yours Mine and Ours" inspired house! I love those movies and its so fun to play large households in the sims as challenges. Thanks!!
obsessed with the grunge teens room, especially the cute ghost wallpaper!! 🖤👻 I consider myself to be a bit grunge/punk and I definitely would’ve LOVED to have that room as a teenager

I love how detailed you get with the story's for the house! I think it really makes a big change to your home knowing those stories and the backstory, ect to the house!!
I'd go with them being a foster family, for the extra bedroom! Maybe they take a foster kid/s in sometimes, it would explain the simple decorations of the room as well, (so it can fit any and every kid and not be overstimulating). We might not have that option without mods, but I think it's a fun idea :)
Omg I’d love to see her take on the biggest lot in the game and make it into a foster home, with an awesome backyard and playroom and maybe the parents foster animals too fhfgrgfg

This is beautiful! It's perfect for me! I've never played with more than five sims but with the new expansion pack I'm in need of teenagers so in making a family with 5 kids and this is just perfect
I love playing my families in your builds 💗! I switched out the dj booth and all that for the patched couch that comes with the new werewolf pack and the scratched arm chair. I love the idea of the projector being in a garage!
This was an amazing build, I know I’m late but I love this!! I’m planning to build a big country cottage for my current sim, as she’s soon going to be starting a family and probably having up to 4 kids. This house gave me tons of inspiration for how to build a large house, and just general decor and building tips! Thank you 💜
Love the green/white color scheme and I think it goes together really well. I also like brown siding and dark-colored roofs in the Sims but in real life, I think blue and white are my favorite exterior paint color.

i love the way you made the garage band area! also it's so fun how all the kids have really diffrent personalities like in real life! (the teen form the garage band probably really doesnt wanna hang out with the preppy teen)

I agree with you about the white doors and windows. I do the same thing! I think it gives more of a newer, cleaner, and brighter look. I don’t know. Whenever I use dark windows, I tend to choose dark colors on the inside. Lol

I used to be on CZcams for hours, I watched family bloggers, influencers and sims builds and let’s plays… then I had my baby and “me” time is few and far between, but to settle my brain at night I watch your videos 😂 idk what it is but your builds are the only videos I watch these days haha

i go for dark windows in builds in moonwood mill and windinburg but mainly i use white for windows:D
I'd say that for a more grungy room I suggest use more earthy tones but the room does give off more punk/rock/mall goth
i usually choose the siding first that way i can choose whether i want windows that are white or some other color.

I imagine that the family who lives in this house is a host family for an exchange student, or maybe they rent out that extra bedroom to some college kid.

how do you place plants so close to the foundation without it snapping to the foundation height? I always have this problem and I have to lower the foundation to place the plants

I find that when I’m building my windows and doors are either all white or all black. I never use brown or colors really.
