Features ex-Felt band member, Maurice Deebank on guitar. The song can be interpreted as a response to the debut Saint Etienne single, Only Love Can Break Your Heart, in it's lyrical refrain, "Oh, only love can mend a broken heart". The band later recorded a French language version with Etienne Daho entitled X Amours.
