Hi Fenna, You mentioned movement and encouraging families to move. How do you focus in these situations? How do you set a focus point and which settings are you using? Can you do some tutorial? Are you always shooting with f1.8 wide open? It's recommended to use a higher aperture number for a bigger groups... is there a situation you will use a narrower f-stop?
Beautiful photos Fenna! I’m glad to see more videos from you, I love your energy and all your tips/tricks/diys.
You are amazing Fenna! Such an inspiration to me as a photographer ❤️ love your content, it has really helped me in my career. Thank you!
I always enjoy your work and work flows and that you keep it simple and elegant.

Stunning photos Fenna! And beautiful location. Loads of fabulous poses with those little kids (not easy) the info about your workflow is so helpful. This family were so photogenic…love your videos and can’t wait to see the rest when you upload..💖
Glad you enjoyed it! The family was a dream to photograph. So lovely!
This is extremely helpful to me. I’m very new to working with families and I’m really enjoying it but it’s quite a lot to deal with when you have multiple children with multiple moods multiple ages so thank you very much.❤
Thank you for all the great information!
great tips! shooting my first family today :)
These photos are GORGEOUS! I love the colours and tones you've gotten😍 Are you using presets at all or do you do all your editing from scratch? I would love to be able to achieve this look!❤️
You're my favorite photographer fenna ,thanks for these videos I love all of theme bcz soo help full soo fenna do you use ANY FILTER on your lens while outdoor sessions ❤😊Thx
Amazing photos ☺️☺️👏
Thank you for sharing all of this. Such beautiful photos! So, my uncle George Larson (Larson Enterprises) invented that softbox you have in your studio! Reflectors as well! He is still doing great at 88 years young.
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing! That's so cool. I've been using it for 10 years and I'm still very happy with it. Say thank you to your uncle from me :)
Been doing more bookings for family shoots, so here to make myself better! thank you forthis video
Thank you & have fun photographing families!
Excelent photos♥️
Lovely!! Thank you for sharing.
Could you tell me what kind of background you use in your studio??
Such a wonderful and beautiful session Fenna! Gorgeous work as usual!
❤❤ absolute love
Thank you!
Great video, do you have any tips for posing prompts when you only have two adults who don’t like posing. I find it easier with more people to photograph interactions but with only 2 people it’s more difficult
nice video u got wish you can share your preset
and also teach us how you color grade please
Hi fenna, loved your outdoor shoot. I’m wondering what you think of the Nikon Z6ll. I have a Nikon D610 with a Nikon 24-70 lens, which together with a battery grip weighs almost 2 kilos.. so I’m thinking of changing to the Z6ll. can you tell me what you think of it…….thank you so much.
Busy lady! Thanks for sharing😊
Thanks for watching!
Superleuk om te zien! 😊
Leuk om te horen!
Absolutely beautiful photography. Your talent inspires me. I notice you do not use flash outdoors, even when your subjects are backlit by the sun. I would feel like I needed fill flash, but your subjects are still easily seen without extra light. Is it a high ISO, maybe 🤔? So lovely.
Sometimes I use higher ISO (when it gets darker), however having the sun behind them doesn't necessarily makes them dark. I guess it's about filtering the sun with trees or not having the sun directly in your camera. So actually placing the people in between the sun and your camera. I hope my answer makes some sense :)
Thank you for the helpful tips 👍🏼
Happy to help!
Which camera did u use the quality is good
very good pictures great work 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Many thanks!
Hi! i love the photos did you shot in raw format or jpeg?
Prachtig!
may I ask which lens you used on this family I need to know what lens to use on a family with 10 adults and 9 small grand children
Fenna which computer is better for editing professional photos? Which brand and is it a laptop?
Hello what size lens do you typically use for outdoor photography? Thank you
Did you bring the Green dress? If so could you shared the link or the brand.
which flash did you use?
What material does your background use?
Where did you buy the white background that has the bath tub
Amazing, could you please tell what kind of focus you are using? Pinpoint? Auto ? And in groups where is your focus in group shots?
Im interested too
Have you ever worked with CROP-SENSOR camera? What would be the best lens for family photos for crop sensor?
Hi what presets do you use? If you do
Good job 👏 any pictures out of focus using 1.8?
They were pretty much all in focus. Of course if people are not aligned at the same distance from the camera (more in the front or back of other people), they become haizy. However, I like this effect so I purposely shoot wide open with the largest aperture this lens has to offer. I'm maybe getting a 1.2 or 1.4 lens someday and would still photograph a family wide open.
These are amazing! Beautiful photos!! 😍
Thank you so much!
How po home service
Fijne dag!
Hello can you send me the link of the little bathtub that is so cute I love all of your videos
I actually use 2 different ones. One is from OZ Backdrops & Props and the other one is from newbornprops.eu
I want a camera that would be good for at least 7 years. I would mostly use it for Wedding, but occasionally for other types of photography. Considering that 5D Mark IV has a max shutter count of 150 000 (Even though it will last for a longer time). Would it make any sense to buy it? It's 1650€ so it's about 800€ cheaper than new 5D Mark IV. EOS R is about 2000€ so it's not really in my price range either. which is best...
Hello. Can you please answer how did you manage to shoot everything in f 1.8 and all of the people to be in focus. A few people already asked you but nobody got an answer. Thanks in advance and those photos are magical ❤️
It's about placing the people at the same distance from the camera. If they're all pretty much aligned, you can get them all in focus also with a large aperture. Make sure nobody is standing more to the front or more to the back. Also in some shots, I don't mind the focus on one or a few people instead of all. With group shots at weddings (for example) I do use a smaller aperture.
Thank you so much for your response, was your lense a 50mm 1.8? The nifty fifty ?
How you use 1.8 and all sharp in the group
Yes, good question. Also, what lens was she using?
I wish she would answer this bc I’m very curious too
If they're all at the same distance or if you're taking photos from far away at a similar distance 🥰
Wow. You shot everything at 1.8 :O
Was thinking the same thing!!! I like everyone in focus lol for the most part. So crazy how everyone shoots so differently.
Where did you get your lightbox that you have in the background of your "talking" section of this video? Thanks
I got it many years ago (I guess 8/9 years ago). It's a Westcott 50 inch Apollo sowftbox.
@@FennaPhotography thank you so much. I love your channel!!
@Fenna&Photography
🤕❤
nice sister
Thank you
F1.8 ? I’m sorry since I saw the videos, I mean even the bokeh effect on the background looks like not on f1.8 and also because the kids moving and still you manage to capture sharp on their faces, tell me if I’m wrong but f1.8 don’t do that well with natural light, BUT if you use speed light or other lighting set up that’s another story
He Fenna, where is the green dress from?
