I used to be afraid of owls for years and years. Up until about a year ago I fell in love with them and cannot get enough. I dream about them all the time, volunteered at an owl rescue and finally saw one in my backyard this morning. A beautiful barred owl.
I often hear an owl outside my house. Whenever I do, usually a matter of days later, someone close to me dies. On edge all the time, even though owls are beautiful creatures. Wish they'd bring me and my partner good luck. I want to start feeling relaxed listening to them, and not frightened
As a native we're told they bring certain curses or such. One mostly being bad luck or negative energy. Don't hate them or want them dead but naw we just don't want nothing to do wit them.

I, as a native, was always told that owls were messengers of death and evil. All I hear from everyone who is Native is that when an owl comes to you or is watching you, is it a sign of death. Usually, the death of someone follows after seeing one in a couple days. Strangely enough, this is coincidence does happen a lot. To me it doesn’t seem like mere luck.
My grandma was Huron, she bought an owl lamp. A week later she was in a car wreck that paralyzed her arm. My mother always says stay away from owls! And never get one tattooed on your body as it’s playing with death!

And went back to his car , all of a sudden a owl just stands in front of his car in the parking lot .. couple mins later it flys away . The majority of Owls only come out at night. They do NOT exist within daylight, therefore time(an illusion humans created based on light and dark) doesnt apply to them. They exist in the infinite present….therefore they can relay msgs from the “past” or “future”. Neither of those terms applies to them
Owl don’t bring death , and if it does happen after seeing one, one shouldn’t be afraid of the birds but think how great God is that it can speak with us through animals , death comes to everyone , owls should tell you there is life beyond this spectrum that we humans see .
