Notes:
---
First four songs of the show (Don't Drink the Water, Tripping Billies, Rapunzel, Pig) were not filmed. It was still light out so the projection lawn screen was not visible.
Dave plays the main guitar riff of Dreaming Tree in a different way (much higher on the neck) then he does today. He switched to playing off the open D as early as 8/7/99 (next video I'm aware of). The jam at the end is also different. This was only the fourth time they'd played it live.
Rhyme & Reason features almost completely different lyrics. This was the first time it was played in almost a year and the only time on the Spring '98 tour.
6/3 is Fenton Williams' birthday (DMB's lighting director) - Dave mentions that at one point.
Mitch Rutman plays electric guitar on Crush. He was DMB's caterer at the time (he left the DMB crew after the Gorge in August '00). Other songs he has guested with DMB on: For the Beauty of Wynona, The Maker, and #41)
DMB's first stadium run took place after this show starting on 6/5/98 at Foxboro Stadium. If you'd like insight into that run (Foxboro/Giants '98) the Big Voice Jack documentary has lots of great footage from 6/4, 6/5, 6/6, and 6/7/98: • Big Voice Jack - Docum... - Hudba

Awesome! Thanks for posting - I was at this show, 16 years old. They also did a 2 night run at Star Lake in June of '99 that I took my little brothers too - the youngest was in 5th grade at the time! I would love to watch those too if you got em. @golfpride 72 - the guitar Dave played in this era is a Gibson Chet Atkins SST
I was at the 99 show too would love to have the video if you ever got it.. I know this is 5 years later but I can't find it on you tube unless I am missing it??
