Energizer Universal Battery Charger with smart LED (a quick look)

- A quick look at a Energizer universal battery charger (model CHEUF). Recharges NiMh batteries size AA, AAA, C, D, and 9V. Reasonably 'smart'. Shows you when it is charging and says it stops when fully charged. Also says it tells you when a battery is bad. It's a 2 channel charger rather than 4 channel, meaning you have to put batteries of same size in in pairs (left or right). So far I am finding it worthwhile at the price.

I charged my 4 AA(2450mAh)batteries and it charged up pretty fast but the batteries got too hot.Did you get any heating issue? Or it's quite normal?
Trop intelligent ! met toutes les batteries "Bad" même les neuves. que faire ? Surement en acheter un Basic.
So what about 9 v batteries?

Hi there, i have this charger and wanted to know if the LCD lights were supposed to be on whilst charging 9v batteries like they are when im charing AAA or AA batteries? all i can see either side of the display is "9V" highlighted in RED??
I don't use 9v batteries so unfortunately I don't know the answer. Maybe you could leave them in a few hours and see if they charge ?
It does say in the instructions online that it takes 12 hours to charge a 9v.

This charger heats the batteries a lot, is there a possibility of damaging the batteries?
that should be normal i guess if its charging it should heat up since energy is being transferred
