When Paul was speaking about Women not allowed to preach or to teach, please be patient when reading the Bible.
Let's start from 1st Cor 14
27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
Who should bee silence men
Lett us continue, men were prophesaying at the
meeting
Men who were prophesying were rebuked.
Men that were prophesying, their women were interrupting the service by questioning if the prophesy was from God or not, their interruptions caused caose at the meeting. Where do we get that from, vs 27 men were prophesying and instead of one keeping silence they could not, and whilst the husband of the other woman still standing the other one will prophesy and no men were willing to sit down. Then, their women started to preach and prophesy, as we know women are louder than men. I can imagine the caose that was there.
Then Paul in vs 33 says For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
34 Let *your women* keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
Note: He was addressing men by saying your women must keep quiet, and the same way He rebuked the men to keep silent is the same way he rebukes women to keep silent. Hence, she mentioned husbands and wives.
King James is clear on addressing women talking to men that let your women keep silent, I repeat that.
Let us read vs. 34 again
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
Women must keep silent when their husband's are prophesying or teaching. They must not interrupt the service. Likewise, men in vs 27, they must not all prophesy so that there be order in church. The law says that when a man speaks, a woman must be silent, meaning she must not cause a fight. Instead, she must wait when the husband has cooled up.
Paul continues now to speak to men by saying in vs
37 If any man thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
38 But if any man is ignorant, let him be ignorant.
Jesus gave His Church gifts. No one can choose a gift, a gift is a gift, do we agree on this one?
If we now start choosing from what Jesus has given to His church as a gift, then we make Jesus a lie, because men chooses from the gift that was given to suit themselves.
Ephesians 4
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
He never said pastors are for men. He should have done this just there to say to men
Paul was basically saying to men, read the Word of God to be approved to teach the Word of God the right way, so that your wives must learn from you and when they are also approved by God to stand with humility and in submission to God, they can also preach with respect.
Women disobey because men are not teaching their women how to conduct themselves in case men depart from earth first.
Charity begins at home.

Misinterpreted scripture! You would have to understand the context of culture and WHY the statement was made. These women were being disruptive to the service,talking back and forth , as the men and women were separated in the congregation...a cultural practice.
Many of the names in the letters of Paul are actually women, that have been translated as "male", which has created confusion in dialect and in interpretation.
Women who God has called and ordained should NOT defend their position to unbelieving individuals...male or female. Rather they should continue their obedience to GOD to deliver the Word, despite the opposition. At the end of the day, they must give account of service, unto God, NOT man.(humans) Even Jesus, our example, never allowed the naysayers to stop the mission or progress.
The scripture says " the He opened their understanding", man cannot open anyone's understanding to truth, only the Spirit of God...to open receptive minds.
Just think how much more effective ,powerful and productive we as Christians/saints/ believers of the Way would be if we would stop debates and preach/teach CHRIST ❗✝️

@@restoredtotruth , the " original" twelve chosen were men, but Paul recognized Junia, a woman in Romans 16:7 as a Apostle. Was Paul....out of order....of course many translations have changed the original name to Junious...male . Of course we know that Priscilla and Aquila were a husband and wife... ministry's team, but scripture does not specify whether Priscilla was "pastor" or not. Paul also recognized other women in leadership roles....was he out of order, if so he would have been corrected by the other senior leaders or by God himself.

*Conversation* NOT meaning -speech- (preaching), but that of conduct, or manner of life or everyday way of living. (Living Epistle)
No sir, women cannot be a pastor. It is written in the Bible which is God's word. It never ceases to amazing how God's word is twisted to fit their narrative. Remember God will not be mocked. Thank you Pastor Jennings, may God bless you. Amen!

We know women weren’t required to be silent because we know in that same boo is says that a woman should cover her head while praying and prophesying. That requires her to speak. We also know women were Apostles and Deacons in the Bible. The scripture you posted was from Apostle Paul, maybe you should look into who he was saying that to and why.
Praying and prophesying is not the same as teaching lol it’s a big difference! The word is right there but people jus don’t know how to interpret! It says women aren’t allowed to teach that’s exactly what it mean don’t try to make yo own interpretation of the scripture! 💯💯💯
@@aaronowens234 It’s says WOMEN ARE TO BE SILENT, you can’t teach and be silent, you can’t prophesy, preach, have authority over men etc.. but we see many instances of women being placed in authority over men, prophesying, teaching etc.. never do we see God say women can’t do anything, you only see Paul tell the Corinthian churches (he established) for the women to be silent, but we see him introducing women in ministry to the Romans.

They of course can pray, but not preach. Preaching was given to the Apostles. Not the women. Christ calls his disciples in Bethany and instructed them what to do, then he ascended up into heaven. He never called none of the women. The preaching was given to the men. Amen!

I believe in order in the church. I also believe the Lord can use whoever ever He wants to. As a matter of fact the Lord has called me to write, so I supposed to miss out on my blessing from the Lord because why? Not gond happen. Because I had to work out my own salvation with the Lord.. Order I do agree I do not believe in women pastors but women speakers I believe in.

It said let your women. Women. Also one of the scriptures said because the woman was found in transgression not the man! That’s the consequence of the woman’s sin in the garden of Eden. There are consequences for sin even though God forgives us if we ask him.

Many are getting things mixed up. Pastors have authority, pastoring is different it’s to cultivate souls and emotions (body,soul and spirit) prophesy is for telling what is to come in dispensation. It deal with the past present and future women can prophesy. They can preach which is to be a witness. Preaching is telling the good news of Jesus. But Pastoring is a different thing. It’s authority of the others. Pastor permits and allows things to be. All 3 are to speak but pastoring is to delegate and lead all. Man is the leader. God made it that way. Pastors set order.

I have one more Question.? There are 2 people, a Man and a Woman. The Woman fast and pray, she lives a Godly lifestyle. The Man never fast, he sometimes pray. His lifestyle God is not please with. I agree with when she mentioning the context and the time while studying the scripture. Meanwhile, if we do consider the configuration of the church how it look like nowadays and its origin, women have no right to teach or preach because it is a corrupted church since the time of Constantin. But on the other hand, we see in the book of acts 18:v26 this right here''So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.'' which means both husband and wife were serving the lord in the brethren congregation they were hosting in their house. There is also one thing we should know is that, the primitive church configuration was not the same as it is today because all churches (Assemblies ) without exclusion were hosted in houses. Romans 16:v3-5 '' Greet Priscilla[c] and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus. 4 They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them. 5 Greet also the church that meets at their house.'' For clarification: The old covenant and the new covenant are total and completely different in terms of prophesies, promises and priesthood because the old one was material but new one is spiritual. No women pastors. Women Sharing the Gospel or Teaching Women and Children Is Not the Same as Preaching. Scripture is clear, first, that all Christians are called to fulfill the Great Commission, not just pastors. Christian women should indeed share the gospel with others; this is not at all the same as preaching or pastoring.God certainly gifts Christian women with spiritual maturity, wisdom, insight, and teaching abilities so that they can teach other women and children to know and love God. If you look at the time that Paul preach this and the reason why he said this , then you're changing the word of truth, to your own understanding, because you don't agree to the way it's written , then the way God establish the word. Through Holy man of God as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

I'm a minister who left my church because my pastor appointed a woman as the co- pastor. Other male clergy have left as well. The women in the Church want husband's, but they chase their prospects away by violating the Bible, and seeking authority over the men.
REMEMBER WHAT THE APOSTLE PAULSAID ABOUT WOMEN PREACHERSIN THE BOOK OF FIRST TIMOTHY CHAPTER 2AND VERSE12 ! IF ANY WOMAN GOES AGAINST THIS LAW, GOD'S WRATH WILL FALL ON HER!

I see it in my church, I am not happy but there’s no church that preaches holiness close to me. If Pastor Jennings is telling people to leave their church, he should have a place to put them. The closest church is in the Bronx, I am in Brooklyn. I don’t want to travel at night as a single woman. Why can’t he plant one in Brooklyn N Y?

These Big churches are moving by the money not by God
I am a street preacher, and teacher, Sanctified and regenerated, Holy, not lukewarm, picked to evangelize by Lord Jesus, Eph 4.11. So, females 99% of the time disagree with the preaching of repentance and obedience as a requirement to be infilled with the Holy Ghost Acts 5.32, John 14.21. What woman preach is love, hyper grace and they cannot offend, so they cannot call men to repentance. Also, I have yet to see a woman even try to understand a patient, meek, and sincere rebuke to their false doctrine. Men are equipped to stand on the corner like I do and say repent or perish. This is masculine and the word of God cuts to the bone marrow, there will be resistance, insults, bodily threat, etc. Paul knew this, and female preachers are inclusive and accepting which leads to false doctrines. Also, in Revelations, Jesus said he hates the Nicolatians. HATES. The Nicolatians were pagan proselytes converted to Judaism and then Christianity and they let woman preach, as they held on to their pagan practices. The pagan deity was female, Artemis, Ishtar. Paul preached to the pagans daily at the market, like we preach to Catholics, and he knew about their female priests and human nature as he had all wisdom, knowledge,and all prophesy 1 Cor 13.2.

@@nathanmccumber8965 Acts 5:32 and John 14.21 covers all commandments, every word Paul wrote is a commandment too 1 Cor 14.37. Yes, we must repent, and be baptized. Repent is a pregnant word and includes obeying the gospel. That is why Acts 2.38 says receive the Holy Ghost. My John 14.21 and Acts 5.32 say we do not get the Holy Ghost til we obey. To harmonize this we go to Mark 1.15 Jesus said Repent and beleive the gospel, and beleive means obey.John 3.36 says obey in the 1550 Geneva and the KJV switched to beleive. Amen.
